Elephant Bay Resort

The staff and the place are gorgeous. I was able to meet some other friendly guests there. In general it has a lovely vibe there.

No fault of the property at all as it was a lovely stay, but I just wished it was closer to the action at Lonley and KB beach as it’s very difficult to drive at night there on that part of the island as the roads have no lights and it feels dangerous.

Localisation, see view, good common space.

Very ascetic room furnishing - there shoud be at least 1 night lamp. Bed sheets were not really clean...

The property had a great outside area, with good views of the sea and lots of space to sunbathe. Nice pool. Friendly staff, motorbike hire 300 bhat for a day. In walking distance to secluded beach.

The property could make minor adjustments to make it a lot better. Doors weren’t properly sealed to protect bugs from getting in and my bag became infested with ants.

This place is great! Really affordable ocean front with beautiful sunset views. Restaurant on-site is open all day, and the food is wonderful. The swimming pool is a huge plus. The staff and everyone here are SO friendly and accommodating and helpful. Short walking distance to restaurants, bars, stores, and beaches. Will return for sure

Staff are really friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Resort rent scooters and no any problems with that. Scooters are good shape, you can get gasoline and helmet too. we had family room with 3 people (friends). in room we had 3 bed and fridge. aircondition work well. pool and yard is was clean. resort area was quiet and relaxing. Sunsets was awesome to watch on resort pool and bar terace.

In room we had some cockroaches and ants. we visited resort one week and the nights was really windy. some night we was think our roof getting off. But this is nature and when you live near of wild jungle so what you expect?

Wonderful outdoor bathroom, amazing to look at the stars while showering. The bed was large and pretty comfortable, and they folded our towels into swans one day :) It was quiet, so we got some good sleep.

Nice environment. The villages have everything you need. Friendly staff, good food in the restaurant.

Some of the cabins are in a bit of a bad shape. With a little effort, you could get a neater look.There could be more storage space, e.g. pegs for clothes inside.

It was a great spot for our family group of 10! Ages ranging from 11 to 66. It is an older facility with a camping type of vibe. The view was gorgeous with incredible sunsets. Very nice well kept up pool. Beach is not sand but riock. The food menu was vast, cooked to order and delicious! Drinks alcohol/non-alcohol were very reasonable and diverse from smoothies to specialty drinks. Location was good for traveling to other parts of the island. The very friendly staff assisted with arranging travel and sight seeing excursions. Value was great!

Our individual cabins(4) were secure but could use updating to seal windows and doors from insects.

We liked everything really. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The sunsets are amazing, fresh water was supplied each day and rooms cleaned on request. The air con was very effective, which is a big plus. The food excellent and the location was perfect for us in every way. Of you want the height of tiled luxury go somewhere else but if you want a friendly, relaxed and informal place to stay, this is ideal.

The beach immediately outside is rocky not sandy. Nearest ATM is about 15 mins away.

Elephant Bay is a small resort with lovely grounds in the village of Bailan Bay. The swimming pool is lovely and it is right on a lovely beach where you get an amazing sunsets. The bar and restaurant also have a pool table and it is easy to get a taxi into Lonely Bay too.

I wish the chalets were a little bigger

Room didn’t seem clean - bikini pad on the wall, room dusty, cockroach in room, facilities were average/poor.

An inexpensive, clean room by the sea, friendly hosts, very quiet, good breakfast and enough restaurants nearbyI'd love to come back

We liked the calm surroundings and the sense of living in a small community with great restaurents and nice helpful people. You could talk to everone and just relax. Bailan Bay is close to great beaches such as Lisca beach and Lonely beach and Bang Bao where you go for snorkling trips. Its a sweet spot on Koh Chang.

I arrived at the resort, I should have known, the sign outside was in disrepair, the bar looked like it had been bombed, the pool table was all broken. The photos on your site must be over 20 years old!!

Big gaps in doors with bugs coming in. Shower outside in open air and rundown.

The whole place needs updating and bathrooms need refitting.

The open door shower is unusable during the rains. Should be fine for non-rainy seasons

The pool was nice, breakfast option on site was convenient.

Location was not central, and the facilities looked a little "old" compared to the pictures, but overall it felt fairly priced, and good for budget travel.

Avoid the rooms at the back. I booked. Bungalow with sea view but i did not see the sea! Just in front of snooker place. Disappointing. No wifi
