Nice view, pool, decent restaurant , free shuttle boat to pier or beach and monkeys

Staff seemed to disregard sewer smell in bathroom as normal, which is typical for many southeast Asian countries with substandard plumbing venting. We covered shower drain and kept bathroom door closed to minimize smell

Friendly staff, accommodating staff. Ease of communication - some staff spoke great English and were very responsive and helpful. The view. (If you're lucky enough to have a room with a view and not be stuck behind another villa)Free taxi boats to the nearby beach. It would have been a truly horrid experience without them. Cleanliness.Restaurant space (not the food though).Sun beds and grass area.

The place looks nothing like the photos - and I don't mean small differences, I mean false advertising. And even though my stay was quite pleasant, if a place tries to manipulate people into booking by providing false info and pics, that's zero stars from me. No beach, even though it's advertised as beachfront. The tiny strip of sand is dirty and covered with glass (i mean it, don't go there barefoot, and wear flip-flops even if you're just getting into a boat). No swimming. The resort is just across thy bay from a harbour so the water is too dirty to swim. Food. Really bad quality, and badly prepared. Not an easy achievement when it comes to wonderful Thai cuisine! Overpriced too, and they charge tax and service charge on top of it. Flat no, I was dining across the bay.

Was super pretty, and away from other hotels so felt a lot more intimate.The included breakfast had lots of options and was great.Big pool that was cleaned daily, and a boat that can take you to the pier + beach multiple times a day for free!

Could’ve been maintained a little better, felt a bit over grown and old.Our room was spacious however needed an update. The sofa couch wasn’t usable, could barely sit on it, it was so broken.The mattress felt like you were sleeping on cardboard and some of the floorboards were broken and would trip over them constantly.There were holes all over the room where insects and lizards were getting in from constantly.Overall we stayed in the most expensive room which was definitely not worth the price, would’ve been much happier in the cheaper room if I’d known they were newer.

This hotel is great value for money, by far the cheapest option we could find that still looked luxurious. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the view over the water to the pier was beautiful. They also have a free boat that can take you to the pier or the beach on the other side of the bay which was a nice perk.

There was a fair bit of litter/rubbish surrounding the hotel and along the road to the hotel but this obviously isn't the hotel's fault, it's just a bit of a shame.

Honestly, we had somewhere else booked to stay for a long time. When we then found this place we didn’t expect it to still be available only a few weeks out from our dates. We took a chance and booked it and cancelled our other accommodation. We were not disappointed whatsoever. This part of Koh Chang is quite far from the strips of bars and restaurants that do exist on the island- but if you’re staying in this area and understand the topography of the island, you will no doubt want to be removed from the ‘bustle’ of the busier areas of Koh Chang when staying here. The hotel restaurant is delicious clean and consistent, they make fabulous cocktails (such delicious margaritas and whisky sours oh my!) and the boat service to the wharf across the bay is really great. I can’t say enough good things about this place - it was my partners first ever resort holiday and he can’t wait to go back. So you guys are doing a great job!!

The view was outstanding, and the grounds were lovely. There was a shuttle boat to take you across to the pier or the beach four times a day, which was super helpful and made planning our day easy!Breakfast was ok. Fairly basic and repetitive after a few days. Ordered a la carte. Restaurant was fairly priced and cocktails were good!Staff all spoke great English and were very helpful! Three cats roaming the grounds, bringing us mice ^_^

Our room was tiny and very old. The bathroom was pretty gross. Lot of cracks in windows and doors meaning poor AC circulation. It was pretty dark too! To be fair, we booked the last room available and it was cheap! This was a room on the ground floor so we faced the beach and pool area, not one of the deluxe rooms with the private tub on the balcony. You get what you pay for. This is totally on us, but we surprised regardless. The room next to us was actually a storage room, so we appreciated the extra privacy but it felt a bit like we had been stuck in the janitors closet! BUT it was super quiet so we slept in a lot, and the bed was comfy.

We enjoyed the peaceful location and view over the bay. The free boat service to the bigger beach was great as well as the kayaks. The pool is great too.

The breakfast could have been better, and there are few things around the resort that could do with a bit of tlc. You need a scooter if you want to go out for dinner at night, not a problem for us though.

The beds were super comfy, the staff here are just amazing. Very helpful and kind. Really made our stay lovely. Thanks very much? the facilities were fine, soaps in the bathrooms, coffees provided and replenished which is great. I would say good value for money. Air con worked well, everything was clean. Pool/ outdoor area was lovely. The location is a bit out of the way, but we got a moped so it wasn’t a problem for us. They also provide a free boat across to the other side where you can rent mopeds/ get taxis and explore.

The parking is very far away. If you forget something in the car, it will be a good exercise, but it will be a nightmare if you have to go up and get it at night. Watch out for those monkeys.The condition of the place is quite old. It feels like it hasn't been taken care of for a long time.Be very careful if you want to walk on the beach. It is not advisable to go into the water there. The beach is dirty, there are glass fragments and other debris there. You will not get good pictures if you take pictures there.It is recommended to bring some of your own food, but be careful because the staff there will charge 100 baht for reheating the food.Standard rooms are not going to give you the best value for your money. If you want to feel better, book the most expensive room. But let me tell you, at this price, you won't get any value for your money.This review is just a part of it. Hopefully, it will help you make a decision to stay here.

The staff was super friendy, rooms clean and this was a perfect stay for some quiet days in Bang Bao. The also have a boat where they transfer guest to Klong Koi Beach or bang bao pier for free. The food was also very good!! Highly recommended.

It needs a lot of tlc. Definitely need new bedding and towels. The towels were the worst with holes in some and not soft at all.

We liked this place very much because it was quiet and cozy, offering total relaxation and an unwinded mood. The resort is quite far from the villages, so it's better to have a scooter, but that adds to the exclusivity of the place. We could use (free) kayaks to visit other beaches, and there is also a free boat shuttle to beaches and villages nearby

There isn’t a sandy beach for sunbathing, but this didn’t bother us at all—the pool was very nice.

Nice location if u want quiet place and less people. Hotel is beautiful, renovated, good food in hotel’s restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful.

In our room on New Year's Eve the electricity went out 5 times, each time we had to go and call the staff to fix it.

Great hotel in Koh Chang, quiet location with beautiful surroundings. All rooms have great views. Dee is very helpful staff can help you with anything you need there.

Everything very dirty towels smell and rubbish everywhere have been catfished by the photos on booking.com trying to get refund as had to check into another hotel didn't even sp3nd one night in there food was bad chips were cooked in old fat do not go to this property

I love how remote this was, whole new experience from otherside of the island! Staffs were very nice and helpful with everything. The room was really nice with almost warm water for the balcony jaquzzi too! :)

Of course always a little renovations could be in place and tidy up around the hotel could boost this place to 4 star or maybe even 5 star in no time!

it was a very peaceful place, good staff, the really take care of customers, if you want, the take you by boat to Bang Bao Pier or to Klong Kloi Beach for free. Room okej, bed was soft. I like it.

Breakfast expensive and no buffet, 1 pool, not 2, you can swim but no beach. Lunch and dinner is expensive and they want 7% tax and 10% tipp on top of price.

I absolutely loved staying here! The location overlooking Bang Bao is stunning, and it’s so convenient to visit the charming seafood restaurants in the area. You can even take a free boat to explore, which adds a touch of adventure. We drove to the resort, and having a car definitely made it easier to get around this side of the island.One of the highlights was the playful monkeys that hang out around the resort—it really added to the experience! Our room was superb, with a super comfy bed, excellent air conditioning, and a fantastic bathtub on the balcony. The pool was amazing, too—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.The free breakfast was decent, but everything else about this place makes it a perfect getaway. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat, I highly recommend staying here!

A little clutter around the resort where they store stuff which could be hidden a little better

The shower could have hotter water, just as the bath tap - the water was only lukewarm.
