Barali Beach Resort

Everything was perfect. The staff, the breakfast and the price. The private beach was amazing, better than other beaches on the island. The restaurant at the resort has better prices than other restaurant on the island

We enjoyed it so much, we didn’t leave. It was nice and quiet. The staff were happy, helpful and fun! Its “nature” vibe is beautiful. The pool and beach were fantastic, we loved that it was from the hustle and bustle. The food was great- they did a really nice Christmas Eve dinner. Many amenities in the room ( flashlight, beach bag and towels, etc) the staff were accommodating when we asked to chang from an adjoining room. Great sunsets! We stayed for three nights, during Christmas and left relaxed and happy.

This resort should be adults only ( my opinion) there were only a few kids, but they are what we heard above the nature and the waves.

Amazing location, beachfront resort, white sand beach, easy to get to the shops, clean rooms, staff were amazing,

No complaints apart from the breakfast; could improve on catering for vegans, expanding the breakfast menu.

The staff is really nice and efficient. The beach access is nice.

The condition of the rooms is terrible, we had 1 pool villa with mold on the ceiling and ants in the wooden wall board. The rooms are to say the least in dire condition. Some plugs work others don't. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the closest shop, a little isolated

I had a wonderful stay at Barali!The room was exactly as shown in the pictures clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were kind and helpful.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing escape on Koh Chang. I’d definitely come back again!

Right on the beach, beautiful architecture

Rooms need deep clean - some cobwebs in the bathroom. Bath water doesn’t get hot.

Excellent stay at Barali for 8 nights ,which I extended from my original 5 night stay.Reception was welcoming and efficient. My villa room was ready on time as promised.The villa was spacious with a huge bathroom.AC, TV, and WiFi worked very well. The room was a bit dated and could use a refresh. Other than a light needed. refresh, the room was perfect.The rooms are just steps from the great pool and the expansive beach. The breakfast area overlooks the pool and the beach.The sunbeds on the beach are plentiful and were always available to use 24 hours a day.●●● be aware of the red ants and the sandfies around the beach area , especially near the casurina trees. . They can be annoying at times.●●●Breakfast started at 7 , with the ever- cheerful staff doing a great job cooking and serving. Breakfast is buffet style with a decent choice of both Western and Thai dishes offered. The breakfast area again has a great view of the pool and the beach.■The location of the Barali is superb if you want to be centrally located , equidistant from the northside ( ferry terminal ), and the south side of Koh Chang. There are loads of restaurants, bars , stores , massage shops, and other diversions located in either direction on the main road.The Barali is handicap ♿️ doable, but be aware that the fieldstone used to pave the paths might present issues for severely mobility challenged individuals.Final Take.....Recommended !!!!. I would have no problem booking the Barali again.

Paths around resort very uneven and dark in evening, could do with updating. Lots of sand flies, got bitten all over, would have been good if hotel warned about these on check in.

Amazing staff, great villas, wonderful little beach. Just a lovely place!

I really liked the location and the hotel buildings in the surrounding. And the staff was amazing. Especially the young woman in the reception. So kind and service minded.

Our room was only separated to our neighbors by a door and I think that made it a bit unisolated. Otherwise everything was perfect.

New facilities, room clean, big, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Staff super kind!

From walking in to leaving, the staff were amazing. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Pool area nice, lovely Infinity pool overlooking over the sea. Nice sized pool. Beach area nice. Bar Staff very attentive. Rooms very clean. Large bathroom. Shower good.

There was nothing we didn't like

Great location on the beach. We had a beach villa and a pool villa. Big rooms that easily can fit 4 people. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant on the beach was just amazing. Great staff, and even if it was a bit more expensive than restaurant on the main Street, we still ate there some days. It was because of the people who worked in the restaurant, we decided to book at the hotel. We stayed a night at the Centara next door, but Barali was just so much better, and I will stay here if I come back to Koh Chang

Loved everything

We booked 2 rooms for my Mum's birthday and we absolutely loved it! The beach front villa is stunning, super comfortable, and literally right on the beach with your own little terrace and sun loungers. We also had a room further back that was huge and super comfortable. The beds are amazing! The pool is beautiful, also right on the beach and it has a swim-up bar with little seats! I always expect the food at resort restaurants to be average but it was absolutely outstanding!The best thing about this place though was the staff. Everyone was SO friendly, helpful, and kind - they really made the trip extra special. My mums room was decorated when we arrived and they made a special table up for us for her birthday dinner and brought us a cake, it was so sweet!

Most beautiful boutique ressort at the beach. Very kind staff.

Nothing very satisfied

Breakfast good, complex generally good. Location excellent. Bed comfortable, towels & linen clean. Staff friendly. Many great options within walking distance for lunch and dinner both on the beach and in the town.

Room disappointing, needs refurbishing, more storage space needed. Bathroom old needs replacing. Balcony old, tired & grubby, uncomfortable chairs and no view. Food and drink very expensive, would benefit by being more competitive as it is on the best part of the beach.
