- This place should be demolished.I don't even know where to begin.The photos on booking.com, although they don't show anything luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, they certainly do not reflect the reality of how awful this accommodation is. Very old photos on booking sites and Google.So run down and dirty. May have been nice 20 years ago.The receptionist was miserable and very unhelpful. Didn't want to be dealing with the public, such a horrible dismissive attitude.Bedding and pillows were horrendous - the mattress must've been made of concrete, with no mattress or pillow protectors.. I was scared to look and see what was underneath. The duvet didn't even fit the bed, it barely reached the edges. Towels were old and threadbare, with only two medium sized towels provided each day (we were a family of 3). No hand towels, face cloths or beach towels.Housekeeping service was haphazard, sometimes they turned up and sometimes they didn't, even if you left the 'make up room' sign on. Not too handy if you needed clean towels as there's no phone in the room and reception is through the resort and across the main road (The Grand Koh Chang)The room gets covered in sand when coming in off the beach, as there's nowhere to rinse feet (all other hotels, resorts, bungalows and bars along White Sand Beach have a shower, hose or even feet washing basin - not Sangtawan)The AC worked but was very noisy.One small shelf in the room under the TV and nowhere else to put belongings, no drawers or surfaces to place anything or store clothes (apart from 6 coathangers on a small rail)The bathroom was covered in black mould, the plumbing was a hole in the floor and the water pressure for the shower was barely a trickle.Breakfast was included - we went the first morning then never returned. Cold, uncovered food served in a very unwelcoming dining area in the main hotel across the road.

The breakfast was delicious, a lovely mix of Thai and continental with a coffee machine. The staff bent over backwards to help, Koy was super helpful and did a good job making my stay better.
If you had a bungalow near the roadside, you could hear the bars at night.
Awesome location right next to the beach, as well as next to the road where there are shops, 7-Eleven, bars etc. Spacious and clean rooms.

The location is excellent, right on the beach. Although dated, the room was very clean, bed was comfy and great air con, couldn’t ask for more for the price!

We like Koh Chang, Access to the beach and should have been affordable.
Resort displays a cheaper price in reception as too what we paid. Garden view was I fact the car park. Sewage truck turned up and the smell so bad could not sit outside. Communications with the resort a joke. Stayed 2 month ago and said would not return. I mad a massive mistake. Noise from bar across the road we had to wear ear plugs.
