Amazing view from ocean view paradise villa!!

A bit crowded with guests. Breakfast is average.

Amazing location, unbelievable beach (soft sand all the way out into the water, shallow and calm for swimming), great breakfast, lovely pools.

Staff and vibe is lacking warmth. It feels fairly clinical and impersonal without any clear picture of who is running the place. But it's hard to deny how lovely the environment is and the hotel runs well (i.e. cleanliness, food, etc), just feels a bit mechanical.

They didn’t have the room I booked but they gave me hotel credit. They didn’t have dinner buffet due to it being low season.

Amazing breakfast, nice location, very nice but small gym, the view was amazing. My room was at the back of the resort, not so close to the beach, next to the garbage, so not amazing. Smelled a bit off to go to the room. WiFi was good and reasonably fast. Beautiful view from the gym. Bed was HUGE.

Welcome Fruit platter was left in the room and had lots of ants on it. The room cleaner came to clean the ants and just wiped them onto the floor, not even disinfecting it. So the ants remained on my floor and I had to clean them. Room was slightly unclean (some hairs in the bathroom). There were ants on the table throughout my stay and I had to constantly clean them.

The rooms are starting to be old and need renovation. Breakfast is not as good as I remember from 3 years ago. Price for holidays period are quit high

The location was excellent, right on the beach, with an infinity pool right next to it, plenty of lounge chairs in all sorts or areas, the restaurant was excellent, great breakfast and actually had a few room service meals which really hit the spot and were very reasonable and very tasty.All the staff were top notch from the front desk, maid service, restaurant and pool barIf you have kids, this place is really geared towards them, they had what looked like a really great playroom, with all kinds of toysI really enjoyed that they had a “tour” company on the property, with top notch rental scooters. I was also able to buy my bus ticket back to Pattaya, which included the taxi to the ferry, the ferry and the bus right to my door.

Really wasn’t anything not to like, except my room face the fitness center which was open 24 hrs a day, just had to close the shades

It was low season and I got low season pricing, but part of the property was under construction. It did not affect me.

That pool is beautiful. Very well designed, overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Staff is very helpful, kind, works hard and creates a great experience. Value for money is excellent here. Also there is a 7-11 next door should you need any extra stuff.

Location was unbeatable. Right on the beach and the best beach on the island. Breakfast was great. Pool was great. Staff wonderful. Right next door to an array of great restaurants. Will return in dry season to compare as water was not clear as expected…

I wouldn’t consider this 5 star resort. For example, the Deluxe rooms were damp and all our clothes felt wet throughout the stay. We got home and our suitcase stank. I don’t know if it was the aircon but never had this before and we live in thailand. Yes rainy season but the floor was wet too. We were ground level. Shower curtains… no shampoo conditioner, just an all in one. Body wash smelt like mosquito repellent. pool towels weren’t available at pool, only provided in room. So once wet, they didn’t dry. Had to wait till next day. Gym was small and mostly cardio machines. The unsupervised Kids ‘club’ was merely a playroom for babies that even my 1yo was bored after 1hr, so my 4&6 yo didn’t use it. Hardly any toys. Our room keys kept stopping. Had to return to reception 7 times to get them replaced. Verrrrry annoying. These things are easy to fix so it has potential to be a great resort. Just not the quality I expected for price and 5 star ranking. One entire block (ocean front deluxe) was under renovation. We booked interconnected rooms and they weren’t available, we just got rooms next to each other. The only option was to move to the other part of the resort which is seperated by the main road. No practical with children.

This was my second time at the KC Grande and it did not disappoint. I love the swim up rooms - quiet, comfortable, and a big choice of pools. Surrounding restaurants make for good food choices. Amazing staff.

The food at the beach restaurant was excellent. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Very clean and a fantastic location with a great beach

Staff is always friendly and service minded. The location is best on Koh Chang and the pool and beach is great.

Rooms are very far away from a 5 star experience. They are in dire need of an overhaul and modernisation (grande deluxe sea view). They have become mouldy and inventory is worn out. Everything is very damp especially the beds and linen. There are big spots of mould around the sink and between tiles in the bathroom. And everything is outdated and worn.The aircon Is extremely noisy, sounded like the bearings are worn out in the fan. Been coming here for almost 20 years and it seems not a dime has been spent on renovation the past 8-10 years - but price has only gone one way.Too bad as the location and beach is unmatched.

Despite air conditioning, the rooms were damp with no ventilation, and even the bedding and everything else felt clammy. While this is not entirely avoidable in a tropical region, it was extremely pronounced here, unlike what I’ve experienced in other hotels.

The service staff were very kind and professional, swimming pool area is great for families and right next to the beach. Easy access to the local town.

Everything during our stay was excellent, but unfortunately at check out we were accused of damaging an iron and forced to pay for it. If you request anything like an iron to your room check it in front of the staff and take photos if necessary. The manager was really quite rude about it and claimed they had photos of the condition before dropping it off, when asked to produce the photos he couldn't, he also made comments that it was probably our child that damaged the iron. A disappointing end to what was a great time, it wouldn't put us off using the resort again but we know what to expect in future.
