Kacha Resort & Spa Koh Chang

I was assigned a room that was the farthest away from the lobby. They?re we?re 10 sets of steps. I asked to be moved closer to the lobby and they did a good job of putting me Two sets To easily access the front door. Plus, I had a great view of the pool

I didn?t like that the bathroom door swung right into the toilet not a very smart build.

location, after that....all down hill after that sadly.

Dirty, badly maintained, facilities way under what is needed

Property was a good location, staff was great.

Broken shower head that sprayed water in 16 different directions, it had a broken connection, zero hot water in the shower, so we took cold showers all week, A/C unit would start a very loud buzzing noise in middle of the night like a twin prop plane taking off on a short runway, so we basically don’t get any sleep all week. It was down right terrible. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this resort to anyone.

The pools, especially the beach front pool is nice, breakfast was decent, but very crowded. The secondary pool with the slide was our kids favorite. There is also a fairly new kids playground. The location was great.

We stayed in the main building and the room was showing its age. It might be a different experience with the bungalows.

The location was good, on the beach, in the center of white sands

It needs a refresh, the rooms are dated. The duvet is so think you think you would need it in the Antarctic, not a tropical Thai island.The buffet got old quickly.

Lovely staff and amazing breakfast. Pool is clean.

I would have preferred a bigger gym with more equipements.Otherwise Everything else was good.

We love our room; it's nice and clean, and the pool is very pleasant. The beach is also lovely. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

On the white sands beach so it very good location. The beach in front of the hotel is quite rocky but in just a short distance , you get a sandy beach.

They opened my safe box before I checked out while I’m in the breakfast. This is a wrong decision by the receptionist who was there on the morning of 17 June. They took all my money and staff which were inside the safe box to the reception! How could a hotel manager accepts this. Fortunately nothing was missing. The breakfast was almost the same every day, they could be more attentive to details and offer more options to guests who stays longer time .

Kacha was a good last minute value as a alternative resort. Pool was good and beach access very good as well. Staff was very helpful though there was some translation issues with staffs limited English and my non-existent Thai.

There could be some more western selections at breakfast. Food was more orientated for the Asian customers.

The beach, swimming pool with swim up bar, the bar and buffet breakfast. Our room was in front of the beach with a fantastic view.

We had cold showers for the first two days. Once we reported this, it was fixed for our last day. The door lock was loose and just work. The wooden clothes horse was rotten and falling apart at the bottom..

Pool area was excellent. The kids loved the buffet breakfast and the rooms were very nice. It is also walking distance to many restaurants.

We booked the most expensive room at the resort an ocean front room. The brochure picture shows uninterrupted views of the ocean. What it doesn't show in the main thoroughfare footpath that is a metre in front of the rooms verandah. As a result everyone who is walking past the room from the pool to the restaurant (or vice versa) stares into the room to see what it looks like. As a result you cannot look at the view without being stared at all the time, so the view is a waste of time and money.The resort is split into two areas, one beachside and one hillside. However everyone eats at the beachside restaurant. As a result it is like a zoo in the morning. So busy that people queue for a table and you end up with people hovering over you as eat trying to get you to leave so they can sit down. Also another fault with the most expensive room at the resort is that they situated the disignated smoking area 2 metres away from the rooms patio. As a vehemently anti smoker every time someone came for a smoke we had to go inside the room to avoid the repulsive smell. Not good enough planning.

Pool was fine. Hotel staff was nice.

We didn’t like the other hotel building, which had no elevator and was difficult for elderly guests due to the stairs. There were plenty of ants and insects in the room. The bathroom had dark green tiles and limited lighting, which made it feel gloomy. Cleanliness was just average. Breakfast had limited options and the taste was quite bland.

Location, good staff.

Basic breakfast, slow coffee machines, limited seating area. One room AC did not work, had to move to another room. Hair dryer did not work, kettle did not automatically turn off, very dangerous.

This place amazing, the hotel resort is Very nice and clean. The brekdast is amazing every day. The room is clean.
