The property is okay, is just that their pool is so cold that we could not swim all through our stay , apart from that, their buffet are so nice , but when we complain that we need the heater when it was cold , they said they don’t have any heater

The property is okay

The general design and comfort, the buffet breakfast in premises, the location, very close to an area with plenty of bars and restaurants, the parking close by at a good price for 24 hs.

The shower, it was slippery! With no handles to grab. Although this happens in many of the hotels we visited during our trip, this was particularly more dangerous.

Very nice staff, great choice of meals for breakfast and dinner, PortAventura entrance tickets included.

A bit far from the city center and beach, but if you are fine with an approx 15 minutes walk, this should also not be a problem.

Location

Advertised as 4 star but was nowhere near it. We were put in a tiny room apartment, 4 of us, across the road from the actual hotel.

A disastrous experience. Perhaps the worst ever. Booking.com this hotel is shaming you, accusing you that you are guilty for their incompetence. They are completely misleading you with the booking process. We booked a four-star hotel, but they put us in a building across the street that looks like a prison. The air conditioning didn't work, the kitchen wasn't functional, 10-square-meter room called apartment, with a bathroom with a sliding door and no privacy. The staff pretended to be friendly, but they lacked any professionalism, and all our complaints went unheeded. This hotel made our long-awaited vacation in Spain miserable. Booking.com you should reconsider your cooperation with this hotel.

The room flooded

The room flooded, they assigned a worse room in the first floor and no compensation for the inconvenience

Nice room, good staff, excellent breakfast and dinner

Public transport slightly confusing and less convenient

the rooms had everything you needed. on the 7th floor there was a beautiful view of the pool and the city. the pool has good depth. friendly waiters and staff. parking costs 12 euros, safe. there are many cafes nearby

2 rooms were booked, which were supposed to have double beds. But one room had separate beds. At the reception, they said that it was the manager's decision and it was impossible to influence it. there are no fresh vegetables at breakfast. it will be difficult for some cars to enter the parking lot. Deposit of €5 for parking keys is not returned.

The staff were so friendly and accomodating.The hotel was very well maintained and very clean..

It would have been handy to have a plug socket beside our bed. We know other rooms did.

All facilities excellent only thing no facilities in room to make a cup of tea had to purchase a kettel as no rental of kettel at all

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, brilliant facilities, delicious food, I would recommend this hotel to prospective visitors.

The room and facilities were very nice and we couldn't have asked for a nicer location to the town. The buffet was nice with the variety of food and the entertainment during the day was nice.

As English speaking tourists we felt there was some distance put between us and the staff where they didn't seem as happy with us as others who spoke Spanish. We weren't quite sure if this was a language issue but we felt a little bit on the outside and felt like we were an inconvenience.

The outdoor facilities were great. Kids had lots of fun!

Overpriced! We were put in a smoking room even being with kids. Very poor (or none) bathroom amenities.We have asked for a double bed and a single and we end up in a room with 3 single beds! For €190 a night, it’s not acceptable.

Pool, location, cleanliness and professionalism of staff

We liked the animation for the kid the atmosphere.The staff was very friendly The food was very good The location is close to everything.We will definitely go back to Marinada.

The staff was amazing but they speak only Spanish so the communication was a bit difficult sometimes.

We liked the location and although it's only 3 star it is a really clean and comfortable hotel

We upgraded to a superior room from a standard pool view. The superior rooms are on the far side of the hotel that looks directly out onto a grotty apartment block so it's hardly an upgrade! Although it says the staff are English speaking only 1 or 2 can speak English and it depends if they are on or not.Thd food can be a bit hit and miss if your fussy be prepared to have chips for dinner. We had good night's and bad nights with food depending on the theme.

We only stayed on a Breakfast only deal, It was excellent with a good choice of English & Continental foods and fresh fruit. A great thing they had in their favour was that they had SOYA milk and as my son is “ dairy intolerant “ we didn’t have to buy any or ask for any. Whilst the room was basic the walk in shower was excellent and very powerful, plenty of wardrobe space. It also had a personal safe and a very welcome mini fridge

It was only on the very last day that I noticed a rather large off putting stain on the edge of my mattress ( brown ) Had I noticed this on arrival I would have asked them to change the mattress Other than that would I stay here again ? “ Absolutely “ !

Our family of four travelled from Ireland and had the best time. The entire place was fab and immaculate!! We booked a duplex apartment with both street and pool views as it’s on two different levels. The kids club staff were fantastic and the activities were great fun for all ages. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for families!!
