Lovely beach type swimming pool, low rise buildings, good location

The hotel's swimming pools were great. There were plenty of sun loungers for guests and you didn't have to pay for them. There was a normal pool and then there was another pool that had sand at the edge and in the pool for the beach effect. The aircon in the bedroom was excellent and was very much needed as it was very hot when we were there. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. The buffet for dinner was great value, if it's not included in your package then its only 25 euro per person and it was worth it. There is very little information about how to get a taxi and there is no uber/bolt available but you can go to reception and they will order a taxi for you.

The queues for the bar inside and outside were very long. There was very little staff working.

The hotel location was excellent, rooms were fine, beds comfortable but no tea or coffee facilities.Staff were very slow, reception, bar cafe etc, didn't feel they all wanted to be there.

Felt sometimes staff thought it was an effort dealing with people. Rooms were clean, location brilliant, pool lovely, I would stay here again.

Breakfast was very good with nice fresh produce. Staff were friendly, and overall, the kids enjoyed the experience.

The rooms were not as good as they were the last time we stayed, and the TV channels were unavailable most of the time. The pool also was not very clean with leafs and debris in it.

Keycard and tickets worked efficiently. Resort was really well kept. Food was very enjoyable. Fixable issue with room seen to very quickly by technical staff.

Poor communication by front of house staff in almost every respect. Eg not providing correct information on arrival about breakfast times or other meals especially where included, most importantly that it had to be booked for a particular slot, not providing information about pool times and charges, having difficulty booking transport as staff unfamiliar with this. We were told by 2 receptionists and more restaurant staff that we couldn't have breakfast before 8am yet when we were leaving, we saw others in the restaurant enjoying breakfast. At least twice we queued for reception query and when it was our turn, the staff turned to someone else. I tried to contact reception by phone because of a problem in the room and couldn't get through. In the end, we spoke with someone in a concierge style capacity. Reception was generally very busy but unmanned at times as we passed it.

Basics and outdated. none of the pools are heated I have to say they were all freezing cold. No help with bags at reception. Zero customer service. Certainly isn’t a 4* that I would expect. No evening entertainment- the same 45 min act for the mini discos and it just restarts 3 different times.

The reception staff are terrible, I slipped over in reception and not a single member of staff seemed interested, the receptionist that I walked up to. Not even a simple “are you okay” rooms have no facilities - no kettle in the room, not a bottle of water in the fridge. Tv was old and only have Spanish channels which surprised me.

Breakfast was fantastic and very well organised. Room was very spacious.

Check in and bar downstairs very disorganised. Check in very slow. Portaventura queues crazy busy. Very poor lighting in rooms near pool furthest away. Felt unsafe at night.

The pools are beautiful and the hotel is very clean.

Overall a poor experience… arrived on Friday 18th April. No pool bars or and restaurants open during the day. Tried to order toasties from the bar… bar staff said they had no ingredients other than cheese ??‍♀️Paid €20 for indoor pool and spa at 6pm. Left at 6.20 with a refund voucher, pool and jacuzzi were freezing cold. Walk in shower in bathroom flooded the room. All in all a really scrappy experience that did not align to what we paid for the nights accommodation.Reception staff are very rude and unhelpful. I asked to speak to a manager at one point and they just said no manager is available, they are having dinner. Come back later ??‍♀️?Do not recommend… will stay in Salou centre and taxi up to the park next time

Room is fine and has all you need

Good location and food. Filthy sheets and pillows.

The cleanness of the bedding and sheets was bad. You could smell sweat or humidity odor on the pillows.Even though the evening temperatures were reaching 12° C, the hotel had not yet turn on the heating option in the HVAC system. This caused some of my family members to catch a cold.

Free unlimited access to PortAventura Park. Possibility to enter Ferrari Land Park (but not attractions).If you arrive before your room is ready, you can store luggage and go to the park at once after check-in. You shall get an SMS when the room is ready.Free Wi-Fi on the territory of the hotel.Electronic cash register for purchasing attractions in the park.Rather big and spacious room and comfortable beds.Small patio outside and you can even see the rabbits under the palms, if you are lucky.

Reception consists of two parts for online check-in and for regular. Big queues in regular. About online check-in heard for the first time, when arrived. No message, nor info was sent beforehand (just some general info in Spanish about the Park, check-in/out times and bus transfer possibility).At the reception got just general information and cards to the room, no further explanations of surroundings (where to go, where can buy water, where to eat). Everything must be asked. In a nutshell: no vending machines on the territory, only a bar is working (you can buy water there), have to go to Salou town (15 min on foot) for lunch, if you want to store luggage - possible in a separate building for 5 EUR.Inside room you shall see shabby furniture with stains rather old TV (not smart TV) with two channels in English. Bathroom - old plumbing, leaking shower pipes and poor ventilation.Location is not that great if you want to go to the beach - 15 min walking, if you want to the Park - 15 min walking. If you want to go from the Park to the beach 30 mins. So, you will learn to love walking :)You have to select times for Breakfast (8:00-8:40 or 10:00-10:40) and yes, 40 min is what you have for the breakfast. (Btw Park opens at 10:30).Ferrari Land is a branch of Greed, as you can enter the Park for free with Hotel's card, but for every attraction you have to pay separately.

Large hotel. Good location for exploring PortAventura. Great breakfast.

The best place for visiting PortAventura, there’s 15 minutes to get this place.

The towels were not changed. The housekeeper took them and did not give them back. So we were left without towels.

Beautiful view, very good breakfast and great amusement park

Room was not very clean and furniture was old and broken. Breakfast time is limited to 40 minutes and stuff comes to the table asking you to leave. Dining area is too crowded and there is no enough time to pick and eat the meals. Too much pressure and stress over breakfast. Amusement park is way too expensive so I recommend you to bring sandwiches and water from outside. 5€ for bottle of water ?‍?

This is a very nice resort. Pity it suffers a little from recession. Some restaurants are closed and they try to make money out of a small things like the gym for example. 10eur a day(but you also have access to the wellness with indoor pool)... And only open from 18 to 22. But!!!!! That beach pool makes it all worth the money. See my picture. Briefly... Some things are starting to be dated but with that beach and the accès to Ferrari land and PortAventura world it is a nice holiday resort for families with children.
