Breakfast poor - juice watered down & coffee awful. Food quality marginal. Price high considering needed 2 rooms for 2 adult + 2 kids. Daily fee for use of in room safe. Deposit needed for towels & key. Not four star - more like a two to three.

Location, amenities, buffet … entertainment ..

No ice machines, need ice ? 1 euro for a glass full ! .. also having to pay for water with meals ( we had paid 1/2 board meals ) .. small issues but enough to make us reconsider any future booking. Think about it 2euro for 1 litre of water with dinner .. that’s a fair chunk of money, especially if you’ve already paid for your food . Additionally the Hotel is a “smoke” free property, however people smoke regularly on their patio’s … smoke drifting everywhere .. also people “vaping” everywhere on property including pool side. The smokers congregate at the main entrance and exiting / entering is a choking experience …

We arrived for 2 nights on the way home from a cruise holiday and to be close to Reus. We happened to be there during the Spain/Portugal power outages that impacted the whole country. To say the hotel was impressive is an understatement. Activities continued around the pool. A generator kept power to the common areas (except bedroom itself). Food was available when so many others were out of power. While it's normally a review about the usual stuff I must say the staff were amazing in a difficult situation and I was so impressed. Outside of that the rooms were clean, amenities were good and activities were great fun. The breakfast and dinner were excellent and the location was so close to everything. I would definitely make this a location for a future longer holiday.

The room was spacious and the hotel was clean. My double bed was huge! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was huge with a large variety of options. I would recommend getting down to breakfast on the earlier side to beat the line.

I had a hard time regulating the temperature in my room. It was very humid in Salou during the days I was there and I was cold in the room and could not get the heat to work correctly. My view from the balcony was also not ideal as it faced the backside of the hotel, but it was still a nice and spacious balcony.

The breakfast was very good everything's you needed was there staff was very helpful very clean though out the hotel we will definitely be back to this great hotel

There could be more sunlounger that's all maybe better night entertainment

location was great. the rooms were clean and have all toiletries you need. loads of sunbeds but you have to pull them down yourself which can be tricky especially if you want an umbrella!!!

we stayed b&b and the breakfast was ok but chaotic. queue for toasters/coffee and if you wanted an omelette of your choosing there was a long wait as the chef would make loads of generic omelettes first...

breakfast was amazing, everything, the staff in the bar, on the reception and the staff cleaning of the rooms.

Everything was spot on. Clean, good quality and choice of food, staff in all areas were always friendly and accommodating, well equipped rooms

Nothing we’ve tried to think of a negative to help other travellers to prepare but there is no negatives

Great location, only minutes walk from the beach,shops, restaurants etc. Plenty of food to choose from at the buffet! Staff were very good and always ready to help with any query

Food at buffet was never hot, only warm. Still delicious!

I would suggest travellers do not stay here.

Our room was in rough condition, the bathroom door didn’t fit the frame ,and had a 12cm gap at the top and bottom , far from ideal when using the toilet. The tile grouting had black mould and the decor was very worn out.The hotel is located on a busy city street, so be prepared for lots of traffic noise.The gym facilities are basic at best, with very little equipment at all. Meal times were extremely noisy and busy, and at times you couldn’t get a table, when you did the noise was such that you couldn’t hear each other speak.To many guests were smoking it seemed, so you have to breathe in their smoke as there wasn’t a designated smoking area.

Disappointing

Firstly,the site was misleading.No accessible room given however staff secured a rail for us in shower.No tea/coffee facilities in Superior room.Bath and shower ran at same time,toilet flush broken.Very dated rooms.Food was very cold and repetitive.39 stayed in group at least half had to try to change rooms.I could say more but won't.Staff tried to accommodate I will say,very disappointed with Booking .com

Rooms where very old and dated for 4 star hotel. Requires total revamp brought up to date to match the facilities pool area and restaurant. Myself and 2 teenage daughters where very disappointed in the room, the extra bed was horrible with large metal bar frames at the bottom and head where shocking.

Food was fresh, for dinner there could be more meat or chicken on the menu. However we were happy with what we had.The room was clean and all staff were very nice and helpful.Beds could be bit more softer, pillows were good.It would have been nice to have had more interesting day time activities at hotel.For example maybe yoga, darts or throwing rings even that type of activity.

I cant say I didnt like anything as such.

The thought of having to que for sunbeds from 8-30 in a morning then people leaving towels on the sunbeds for hours and not using them

Location ideal for everything. Nice, friendly hotel. Pool nice and bonus of separate jacuzzi, over 16 only. Plenty of seating in bar area and pool bar area.

Not clear of eating arrangements. Half board did not allow missing brekkie and having lunch instead. Allowed to do one day but not the next.
