Golden Costa Salou - Adults Only 4* Sup

We really enjoyed our stay at this adults only hotel near Tarragona. The two pools were both very nice as was the proximity to the beach.

My only complaint was that we only booked a two night stay so we didn't have time to explore and the hotel offers, like the spa.

Great location, near you can find many good places to eat, and the sea is only 1 minute walk distance from the hotel. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, ideal for a truly relaxing stay. Most of the guests were older, which contributed to the calm and serene environment.

Even though they had plenty of variants for breakfast food, we didn’t find it very tasty. The food appeared fresh and was well-presented, but many items were bland or under-seasoned, and didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of flavor. It's clear they aim to cater to a broad range of guests, but we felt the breakfast could benefit from more attention to seasoning and overall taste.

Clean and spacious with comfortable lounge and dining

Very clean and nice staffs and variety of activities in the hotel. The food is good there and a lot of options. Bar is good as well. Swimming pools are good

Excellent value for money! The room was very modern and clean. Close to bars, restaurants and shop in La Pineda and a bus stop right outside to travel into Salou or Tarragona (where you can get a 40min train to Barcelona). The food and cocktails were exceptional with plenty of choice. The evening entertainment was incredible! All the staff seem to love working at Golden Costa, particularly the bar and entertainment staff.

The sauna and steam room in the spa could be kept at a hotter temperature!

Great hotel. Lovely pool area. Clean modern bedrooms. Brilliant live entertainment every evening.

Rooms are gorgeous, hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast amazing.

We booked a double room, but got two separate beds pushed together.

Wow! What can I say about this place! Brilliant from start to finish. The staff are the standout in this hotel. I hope they get paid correctly for their "above and beyond" approach to customer service. Nothing is too much for them. Super friendly, helpful and accommodating! Riza and Mika were incredible standouts throughout my entire stay and definitely made our trip more enjoyable!The food is amazing. Such a great choice and never got boring...always something different every night and always super fresh. Super relaxing, friendly and just what we needed for a quiet getaway.Would highly recommend!

This hotel is great, with excellent friendly and helpful staff. The cleanliness is exceptional and the choice of food is excellent. The hotel entertainment is really good and the room allows for dancing. We had a pool view room which had sun all day and views of a pine tree wood behind the pool. As an added bonus there are bus stops next to the hotel with regular buses go to Cambrils, Salou, Tarragona, Reus and Barcelona. The area close to the hotel, however, doesn't have much in the way of bars, cafes or shops but there are some about 10 minutes walk away. The hotel is in a nice quiet location.

The food was good and the service very welcoming

I booked this hotel for the spa facilities but the Sauna was closed (broken) and I couldnt book a massage. The TV in the room wasnt working and the Wifi neither.

The location is great, the interior is really pleasing (even thought not a lot of space), breakfast was also really nice! The same as the dinner. We were met by a guy at the front door and he was really nice. Ladies at the counter were amazing! The staff is great in general. Free street parking (off season) was just behind the hotel and it was really convenient.

We've stayed in other Golden hotels and should say the SPA zone is quite small. The capacity limit also is really low (that's kinda a good thing, but even in the off season you should book prior).

the little things such as hair cap, shoe wax ect…that you usually find in your hotel room were not in the room. The desert section of the buffet was not that great. Ot was like airplane desert.

Location is brilliant,it's not far from Salou,only 5km and bus service is amazing ? Breakfast was good enough and we always had a lunch which was so good and huge selection of everything everything.Service in the restaurant was brilliant....reception is so helpful and kid to all guests.

Room size is little bit small but I understand it's not possible to make better....pool on 5th floor not heated and its unpleasant

Everything was excellent. We paid for breakfast to be included each morning. The selection was fantastic and really good quality. Entertainment in the bar each evening was to a high standard apart from the magician, just not for us. Pools were cold as in other reviews but I didn't mind this as I wanted to cool down when the sun was out. Rooftop pool was a highlight! Staff super friendly and lovely cocktails. Beach is a stones throw, really clean. Ideal for a quiet holiday as it's right on the edge of Salou and La Pineda, great bus service if you did want to visit the centres

People leaving their towels on sunbeds, the hotel has a 45 minute rule but never saw any removed. Wouldn't like to see the rush for sunbeds during peak season, there's not that many in the sun with the way the hotel is positioned.

Nice and clean rooms. Very good food and big choices at breakfast and at evening meals. Friendly personal in the hotel. Staff in the restaurant was especially efficient, thank you.

Water in both swimming pools was too cold, it was not warmed up in spite of fresh weather.

Excellent location (but keep in mind that officially it is Salou, but real location is La Pineda). Great choice of meal for breakfast and dinner. Every evening they organized some kind of event: magicians, singers etc. There are 2 pools: in the inner yard and on the roof top. The sea beach is in 200 meters. This way you can choose where to sunbathe.

For some reason the sink was in the hallway, not in the bathroom.

We were travelling so only stayed one night, but the Hotel was very nice, use used the Spa (Pool/Sauna/Steam etc) and the evening entertainment was very good. The food at dinner and breakfast was also very good and the fact that the hotel was adults only was a special bonus ??
