Hotel Best San Diego

Pool small and dirty! Rooms not very cleaned! Some of the staffs very rude! I don t recommend this hotel!

It was clean, staff very polite and helpful and the area was nice, beach is near.

The food was good, but not excellent. Some dishes lacked taste, but in general you could easily find something good to eat.

The place was in a great location, staff we're amazing and the rooms were comfortable We came as a group of 9 and would definitely come again

The room was ok and the staff friendly.

There was a lot of mess in the restaurant. The glasses were very dirty, full of dry food and you could gently gnaw them with your fingernail to see how dirty they were. The cutlery and plates were also very badly washed and with dry food.Some of the staff don't speak English well, so they brought me drinks for dinner that I didn't even order.The pool is too small for how many people the hotel can accommodate.The bathroom door, being sliding, does not close well.The bad and pillows smelled bad.

I love the best hotels group and come back every year always clean and all staff are friendly

Bright modern hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful with many choices. There were 2 coffee machines and 2 microwaves and 2 toasters so was easy to get hot food and drink. Not our usual choice of hotel but meeting family with young children so it was good for them. We only had breakfast.

Suspected it might be a bit noisy so asked for a quiet room. Other people are obviously to blame but it couldn't have been worse. In a room next to part of a large family group in surrounding rooms that were shouting to each other from the doors and running in and out until 3 a.m. one morning. We also got eaten alive by a resident mosquito in the room that we certainly didnt let in as we kept the balcony doors shut. Only found and caught it the day we left. Feel the rooms should be sprayed between guests. Most of the problems were created by the people staying so its unfair to blame the hotel. Location was ok but this area of Salou is a bit hilly for anyone with any sort of disability just for info.

Space & crush with chairs etc in dining room p, noisy chairs. Eggs at breakfast broken, overcooked & sitting in grease or water?Tea & coffee cold.

Staff were great. Food was amazing.

Not enough space around the pool

Room was very nice, clean, comfortable and A/C was really good. The pool area was nice.

Very clean and tidy. Staff were fantastic. Lovely pool and plenty of beds.

Location excellent. Pool, food, all wonderful. Staff are extremely helpful. There are plenty of sunbeds.Luggage room and showers when you have a later flight.

Would love some music at the pool area.

Good location near two beautiful beaches and close to the city center and bus stops. Variety of dishes for dinner. Nice and friendly staff. Big enough room as for 3 people with bid bathroom.

Dirty glasses and plates in the restaurant. Same dishes for breakfast every day with no variety. The restaurant is only in the basement with no outside access. Your clothes smell bad after dinner because of the cooking. Bad internet connection in the room. Very infrequent change of bedding. The faucet in the bathroom was shaking. The hair dryer stopped working after 1 minute. I informed the reception but it was not repaired or changed. I did not understand why animation took place inside the hotel every evening although there was enough space for it outside.

The food was good and always something to eat and the air conditioning was brilliant. Nothing was ever an issue. Was in 5 mins walking distance to beach, pubs , shops, main strip and always felt safe.

The rooms were very narrow and it's hard to get pass each other. The entertainment was inside 5 nights out of 7 which was disappointing and it was never great entertainment. The Karaoke night was the only good night.

Spacious downstairs and at the pool. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Rooms small with very little storage space. Everything shut down at 12am. Entertainment wasn't great.

Large bedrooms, very clean, great locationStaff are always super helpful and friendly, same bar staff from last year who made us feel welcome. The entertainment team, Maria and her partner tried very hard to get the guests involved with activities which wasn’t easy as the hotel has a ban on outdoor music which meant the evenings entertainment was held inside, and most of the guests, especially our group preferred to spend the time sat on the outside terrace.

No music allowed outside, this meant is was quiet, the pool actives had to be done without music, the evening entertainment had to be held inside but we wanted to be able to enjoy sitting outside in the fresh air in the evenings

Good sized room and the cleaning staff were lovely

Breakfast was stone cold!Bar staff were giving my friend free drinks and flirting. It was uncomfortable.Entertainment guy Gaga was awful. Played on his sexuality and didn’t provide good entertainment. We walked passed so many hotels who were having so much fun.

Not a great deal of variety for meals. Great if you like pork! Poor choice for vegetarians

the very friendly hotel staff, who speaks 3 or more languages, helped with everything and with a smile.

the beds were very comfortable. we had half board for our stay 5 nights. good selection of food. the drinks at the pool bar had great size measures.
