Hotel Best Mediterraneo

Clean, modern, hotel in a good location. Reception staff were incredible. Cleaners were lovely and didn’t hassle. Food was delicious everyday and so much choice.

The bed was like sleeping on a marble floor and the walls are extremely thin so you can here EVERYTHING Gilberto who was on the restaurant door most of the week was grumpy and rude most days. He got switched out for happier staff a few times and this made it so much better

The location and rooms were clean and comfortable food was very good

A nice distance from the restaurants and plenty shops nearby. Great spot for bus stops too.

We had sick on the floor when we got into our room. When I asked for it to be cleaned, I was then told that I had requested for it not to be cleaned...which was not the case. It was then cleaned when I asked the second time but this was a little disappointing.

Pool was very cold, no facilities to make tea or coffee during the day although I’m sure the staff would have been very happy to provide if we’d asked

The lifts were slow and too small, the balcony was glass with a gap at the edge between the balcony floor and glass panel which is unsafe for young kids and hotel rooms did not have internal locks again unsafe for young kids

The rain..pool area bit small..full of family's nd kid's..as a couple just couldn't deal with so many kid's around..?

Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly and helped us move room when required. The food was nice and what you would expect from an all inclusive although there could be more options from the pool bar during the day.

There was no space around the pool to place a sunbed if you missed the morning rush and no towels were removed from the people hogging them. We had to ask to move room as people either side were playing loud music late into the night. The quality of the all inclusive drinks is not top (or even middle shelf) and you have to fight to get a large glass for the self service beer. If the hotel controlled sun beds, improved drinks, added nicer seats and opened the inside bar so you did not have to hear the same kids songs repeated every night outside it would be much better.

Rooms were nice and place was central.

Noisy in the morning and big pool could have been bigger very busy in the day, also breakfast was not great and food and tea especially were always cold, water to make the tea was lukewarm!

The lifts were a disaster. The pool area was very busy with some broken chairs and umbrellas. Had to hire a kettle and pool towels!

Near to the beach and shops beautiful roof terrace that was so large and we had the sun all day.

Small pool and of course not often able to find a space to lie down. Went to the beach instead

The location was excellent, nothing was far from the hotel. The beach was less than 10 minutes walk and the main shopping area would be the same.Breakfast was okay but the food could have been a lot warmer. There was a good selection of food, fruit and cold buffet breakfast.

Hot water from the machines could be hotter for your tea to stay warm for longer. The idea that you had to queue for a sunbed at 9am or before was not something I would want to do every morning on holidays. Some mornings as we were going down to breakfast before 9am the queue was around by the reception area. The notice says pool doesn't open till ten but that's not true, people put their towels on the beds and then went into breakfast, it says that towels would be removed if chair wasn't used within half an hour again that didn't happen. The pool area is too small for the amount of guests in the hotel.. We never got around our pool for the whole week we were there, so we just went to another Hotel or the beach.

The location was pretty good, 10 min walk from main areas and a supermarket right across from the hotel. The best part of our stay was the staff! From reception, cleaners, bar staff and entertainers everyone was phenomenal. Special mention to the entertainment staff who were full of energy all day everyday and got everyone who wanted to involved. We were celebrating my partners birthday and we didn’t mention it to any of the staff but still received a bottle of complimentary wine cooler(I had decorated the room with birthday decorations and presume the cleaners caught on) this was so thoughtful and meant so much to us. Even though we didn’t get the all inclusive package, breakfast was only €7 per person and was lovely. Lunch and dinner was also available for €10-12. All of the guests brought such positive vibes with no trouble at all. We had a late flight home and got late check out till 6pm for only €40.Highly recommend this hotel!!

Good hotel considering it is only a three star. Main area and pool were spotless. Good base for staying in Salou.

Room cleaning wasn’t the best, the two lifts were not great and people were always queuing. You couldn’t get out to the pool until 10 am.

Hotel was perfect - very clean, central location and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Comfortable clean room, with a fridge. Cleaning lady did a wonderful job , always with a smile and a friendly greeting, lovely lady.. There were plenty of good food choices in the dining room. Nice bar and some good entertaining evenings. Again, lovely friendly staff couldn't fault them.Very clean pool area plenty of bed availability.. Would definitely stay again..

Close to the main town, 10 minute walk away from the beach, 3 supermarkets across the road with stocked supplies, nice bathroom mirror, provided a happy bitthday wine bottle to the room free of charge, staff were happy to help with any issues

The bathroom door doesn't have a lock, the room was not clean in some places like the floors, cleaners were rude and practically dismissed us, the phone in our room to call reception didn't work, the view from the balcony was not like the one shown, the gym was locked at all times
