Hotel Best Cap Salou

Everything was clean, the breakfast was very good.

In the app, they say they have parking (that's why I choose it), and when we arrive, there weren't parking slot. So they should specify that the only have like a small quantity of slots. Or at least try to give a solution to their guests, which they didn't do.

Breakfast was the best meal of the day, the slides and the private beach were brilliant

The food was as you would expect from a 3 star. Edible but not a lot of choice and very repetitive

There was plenty to do for the children, the facilities were great. Everything was kept clean. Fresh pancakes and omelettes made on a morning and meat cooked fresh on a night.

We had a plug hanging out the wall, wires exposed, took us 5 hours to get checked in, we asked for early check in, was told no, told to come back but then they were checking other people in infront of us. My husband got locked in his bathroom more than once and his tv didn't worrk. These were corrected, but for a hotel opening, you expect things like sockets to be intact. The key cards constantly didn't work, apparently being near a phone stops them working. Pancakes were fab but the hotel was full and they had one chef making omelette and pancakes,

Without exception, all of the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. We would like to especially mention Gemma and Marta in reception, and Adrian, Edouard, and Pedro in the restaurant. They went out of their way to make sure that we received the best possible treatment. We were in Salou to watch our grandson play in the Mare Nostrum football tournament, which was brilliant. Our stay in your hotel just added to the lovely time that we were experiencing, it was that good. Our grandson is looking forward to playing in the tournament again next year, and if he does, we will certainly stay in your hotel again. We give a huge thank you to all of your brilliant staff team. Nothing, everything was brilliant

The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. There was plenty located around the hotel and the facilities it offered like a little arcade with pool tables etc was great to have something to do in the evening time.

Breakfast and dinner buffet was very good, and great value. Staff were friendly and were doing their best.The kids club and evening disco was brilliant. The kids loved it and the staff there were amazing. Good supermarket and pharmacy close by within walking distance.Very good shower in the room.

It was advertised that there was an indoor pool. As it was mid April this was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. When we got there the indoor pool was really an outdoor pool, with all walls open to the exterior but with a roof over it. It was too cold to be able to use.We queued for 2 hours to check in. There was no organization or system and a lot of skipping.At 4am drunk man screaming and banging on the door. A lot of people on the floor came out complaining, most had small kids.

The drinks bar, no proper queue so you got skipped a lot. I don’t know they can’t make a queue like they do to enter the restaurant

Money stolen by house keeping on my son. Wasn’t acted upon by management which was very disappointing.

Our family enjoyed the Aqua Park, the indoor pool, the drinks, ice creams and snacks from bars by the pools, especially the "sandwich mixto". The staff was helpful and cheerful. My daughter enjoyed the Kids Club.We booked all inclusive. We also enjoyed the variety of menus at all the meals. Enjoyed having everything at the hotel without driving anywhere for a week. Good supermarket across the street and very souvenir store across the street..We also enjoyed the hotel spa. We definetly plan to come back next year !!!

We went at the very end of the season, a thing here and there may need the annual maintenance, but nothing serious. The odd towel may need replacing

Property is in very good location. Easy to find it as we used a public transport from the airport. I liked the space, the food was great to be honest. Little shops and restaurants around, however I would recommend take a bus or bike and get to Salou as there are many more and cheaper. Little shops with all the souvenirs and other bits.

We took only half board , however I didn’t know that water wouldn’t be included , so make sure you buy a water if you buy half board only. There are water stations however they will tell you it is for blue hand bands only. Anyways that was not a very big issue as there is a shop 3 min walk away. They forgot to mention that you need to take a paper that they give you in reception upon arrival where it says if you’ve got full board/half board and for how many people - this you need to take every time with you whenever you go to eat.

The hotel was one of the best childrens hotels which was great for our young granddaughters and the hotel was sitting on the beach which was great

Disappointing experience

Old facilities, rooms not clean (found hairbands from previous guests in the bathroom), room not cleaned daily - just given towels. The parasols at the swimming pool causing significant safety hazard. Several of them flew away and one hit me in the head. Imagine, if it was a child. The kids club starts at 5 years old, and the staff barely looks after the children - just puts Netflix with ads on. In one of the sessions I saw the staff teaching kids how to twerk.

The isolation is not very good and other guests were really noisy and crying or laughing loudly. The food variety could be better, they just spread same food in 2 or 3 areas.

We really enjoyed the waterpark with the slides and the pool and the access to the beautiful beach. Also the illuminations at night. The trees were pretty,cozy balcony’s. Also really enjoyed the entertainment in the pool (dancing,music and handball) the animator was energetic and great ! Free safe in the room was very handy.

Rubbish along the beach and cliffs also around the woods/bushes near the hotel. Plastic bottles,bear bottles,crisp packets and cigarettes. Also bathroom doors damaged by dampness. Rooms definitely need refurbishment and make them brighter. Smokers and non smokers shouldn’t be mixed together at the swimming pool area. Leaving your luggage in the luggage room unsecured is not comfortable especially for people arriving to the new place. I was worried that my luggage would be taken by someone by accident. I would like to see some cabinets with locks even if that means I’d have to pay little bit extra for it. Also the warm food served for breakfast was never warm like it’s supposed to be. Games in the game area are a rip off as soccer players game charges €1 after every goal lost. It would be great if the animators for night entertainment would take into consideration that they are dealing with multinational group of guests to dedicate a bit of attention to each of them and promote a spirit of having a holiday fun together. More smiles on the personel members faces will be a big advantage.
