Lovely pool area and rooms were very clean and the breakfast was lovely too

Service in the bar was very slow , but other than that it was all good

Found this hotel to be in the perfect location, short distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff were so lovely and friendly! We loved the pool and the poolside bar was really great! Theres a great selection for the breakfast buffet. You also get discounted tickets for porta Ventura which is a bonus.

The walls were thin so sometimes it can be noisy, but the hotel seems to be mostly couples or families so for the most part this wasn't a problem.

Breakfast was plentiful, pool was a rush to get a sunbed in the morning

Lack of sunbeds, but adult only pool there were lots to choose from.

The hotel is conveniently located to the amusement park and the city with many restaurants and shops around. The room, the bathroom and the terrace were big and clean. The hotel has a shuttle to the park and back. The breakfast was very good.

There was no complementary water in the room. There were no coffee and tea facilities.

Pool area was disappointing for teenagers, no floats allowed. staff strict with swim wear, The pool was freezing ?

The people next door to us had their tv blasting until 1am my two young children were unable to sleep.There is 0 sound proofing in the hotel rooms everything can be heard.

Amazing stay. Staff were excellent especially Assia, at the front desk. Helpful and friendly always. Affordable for our family with park tickets. Breakfast fab.

Loved the hotel. Very busy reception but staff looked after everyone ,especially Assia. She was so efficient and made us feel so welcome with a smileThe manager Pau was lovely and took the time to ask us if all was OK and remembered our past conversations and took the time to have a chat with me and my husband and family. All staff from bar staff, cleaning staff and the restaurant were brilliant..I would recommend this hotel.Location to theme park was amazing..

The layout of the room. Couldn't decide if it was a hotel type room or a self catering room but with no kettle cups or any equipment. A bit confusing.

Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. There was plenty of food.not all to our taste but a really good spread of food. I would highly recommend this hotel for any family.

Food was what you would expect. Little boy loved the sausages.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. No sunglasses allowed in the pool.Electric sockets hanging off the wall.

The buffet food was overall average to poor in quality and variety.The bar area was extremely noisy in the evening with very loud disco music

Super disorganized, waited in queue for an hour to checkin, the breakfast was packed and many items unavailable

I liked the location, the entrance was nice.

I didn't like the fact that at breakfast and dinner it was like a cattle shed. Everyone rushing here and there. The noise. The food was mostly the same for our stay. Not very personal. Also tea and coffee facilities in the room would of been nice. No water in the rooms. Cold in the room too.

Air-conditioning wasn't working and room was hot and stuffy. Open the windows for fresh air and you get mosquitoes and noise early in the morning. Bed covers, not the sheets, were a bit smelly

I have stayed in dorada palace over 20 times over the last 2 decades so I always enjoyed my stay. In the past the hotel has been great with the pools, the bars, and cleanliness always being to a 4 star standar. however since the portavetura takeover is has destroyed the hotel.

The check in process is much more lengthy, we visited reception to get a second room key and it took 40mins like wise when we needed to order a taxi to the airport as the staff on the desks are slow.We always enjoyed the roof top pool but now there is silly rules like no glasses in the pools and hotub. my partner was asked to remove her glasses which left her unable to see in the hot tub... not the very safe??We had left our own personal card to keep the electricity on and on return from breakfast we found it gone, which we reported and never heard anything back.In previous years the house keeping staff where always very friendly with a hello and good morning, this has disappeared and now they just look miserable.The amenitie basket in the bathrooms has been removed along with drinking glasses and replaced with paper cups.The towel hire charge has gone from a 10 deposit to 15 euro deposit with a daily charge aswell.Now there is a reservation system to book your meals, which still leaves big ques to get in to the restaurant with the quality of the food declined.I could keeping going with notable issues but it's clear the new management is just cutting cost and with this the hotel no longer be 4 stars.

Slot machines for water were not working.Booking system for meals was a bit odd.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly through checking in/out, serving dinner, entertainment, etc.Amazing view of Salou from the balconyRooms had good ambience and lightingCleaners visited regularly and kept cleanliness to a high standard

Half board - lots of options for breakfast/dinner, food was labelled poorly, eg. What looked like Breaded chicken was labelled “chicken”, when cutting into it had cheese in it.Shower - shower drain was blocked, requested for it to be fixed and was told it would, however it was not fixed during my stay leading to 2 minute showers before it would flood the room.

Staff are very helpful and importantly (for Brits who don't speak Spanish) their English is very good. I can check in/check out at any time and the staff are always willing and able to help.

I've only every stayed one night (on multiple occasions) so I don't actually know much about the facilities but I've never had an issue.

Hotel was lovely, and all staff were very attentive and helpful

No Cutlery, or. wine glasses in apartment .. microwave not sure if it doubles as an oven

Very spacious, slightly out of the main busy season so great. Parking was fine given the out of season dates.
