    Cons -

    • We stayed last week in July so understand it is summer holidays but the shear volume of people in the pool was crazy, hotel pool is not big enough for amount of guests and not enough sun loungers, The pool area is closed until 9 am and people were queuing for sunbeds from as early as 7.30 am and then running across the pool area and throwing down up to 6 towels to secure beds. The sun beds themselves were filthy and not just dirty from the start of the season that's for sure, this was dirt and mold that has been there a long time. The pool area in general was dirty by the end of the day, the water in the pool was almost milky. An ice cream wrapper floated past one day with people just staring at it so I fished it out, another day an ice cream had been dropped by the pool which looked like a child had poo'd itself but it wasn't cleaned up. The pool bar is cheap and does a snack menu but sitting by the pool is like being in a night club as music is so loud all day.The rooms are ok, as expected for 3 star hotel, fine for us as a couple, those with children had the same size room but with extra beds in. My brother in law and wife stayed with their 14 year old, the room had 2 small double beds in which took up the whole room. A lot of guests had to store their belongings and cases on the balcony.Meal times were very full on and noisy, again from the shear volume of guests. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 am. There was plenty of fresh food, always something to please everyone - chips at breakfast time for the Brits -sigh! Dinner times again very busy, food is ok, always a fish and meat choice, salad etc. Mash and gravy in 30 degrees - guess you have to keep the Brits happy. Desserts weren't the greatest but there was always a choice of 4 or 5. If you like to queue then this hotel will suit you, I queued to check in, check out, for breakfast, dinner, to get the key for the gym, queued for the lifts.

It was convenient to the town and the room was nice and clean, beds were comfy and balcony was nice to sit on.

Always a queue for the lift, the lobby and most other places in the hotel were crowded and full of people just standing around especially teenagers which were screaming and shouting and making so much noise! It felt like a holiday camp not a hotel…

    Very clean lovely staff

Not enough for kids to do, also the pool was very cold with a 9-month-old baby it was too cold for her to get in, asked to be allowed into the pool in the sauna with her, but we were refused, a lot of kids without adult supervision were in the sauna pool they were very messy no staff member was there to tell them to leave so had to put up with them being so messy that happened every day I was there ,

It was crazy busy. Staff were working hard. Good variety but took ages to figure out where everything was situated.

    Everything is not labelled

    6LauraPosted on: 4-20-2025

Spotlessly clean. Great location. Good size triple room. Fab walk in shower. Good buffet style restaurant with lots of options.

Check in process was terribly slow and protracted. Similar for entry to restaurant. Had wrist bands but still needed to show check in card every time. Not sure what wrist bands were for. Worrying unsafe rules around the use of the spa/gym facilities, locking people in!!! Some staff were unfriendly. Switching lights off in the bar when everyone was still sat in there. No announcement made to say bar shutting or to ask us to leave. No air conditioning in the rooms meant patio doors had to be kept open to be cool on a night and therefore sleeping was difficult due to noise.

Breakfast and dinner great choices and plentiful (not sure why there’s so many poor reviews) staff were all friendly! Animation team were amazing! Pool facilities / snack bar all great! Location a ten minute stroll from the main strip / beach and a 20 min walk to port aventura! The hotel was amazing value for money!

No inflatables in the pool (unless they’re tiny ?)

Everything was as expected staff were great entertainment staff brilliant, only weak thing was the food it was only ever warm

    7WilliamPosted on: 4-10-2025

Could hear every noise, morning noon and night, staff weren’t bad … Good pool area … If you’re gasping for air drink, don’t expect the bar servers to be in any rush … Rooms were very basic but cleaned everyday, could do with a spruce up but ya pay for what ya get … Wouldn’t rush back but wouldn’t say it’s a bad stay by any means.

Lovely property, friendly staff, great location. Nice food and affordable

Beds we’re not the most comfortable but still ok

    8JackPosted on: 4-3-2025

The breakfast was good a nice & varied selection for all your requirements. The bedroom was good and the beds were comfortable & large. Bedroom could do with an extra mirror in it

The only negative, to me, is that I do not like sliding doors to my toilet.

    7RoxyPosted on: 1-15-2025

Close to everything needed, enjoyed walks and with kids it's great to be close to portaventura. Pool was great and kiddie pool was amazing

A lot of things were not cleaned and no AC. Some staff weren't bothered as it was close to closing season

    6AmyPosted on: 11-3-2024

The room is perfect size just right. And perfect Area close to the park.

The food could be better. Same food everyday, not enough option always cold. Some the staff got bad attitude no respect.

    Cleanness (dirty floors)

The staff that we dealt with, was really nice. Also the room, if you leave the hanger to have the room clean, was clean and neat.

This Hotel is not a place to rest. At all. I understand that it is a family Hotel, and I am good with that, that's why I chose the Belvedere's Hotel. What I expect from a Hotel, when I go on holidays is to have a place to rest and sleep. It was impossible. Kids yelling at the corridors until 11:00 and from 7:30 in the morning, you can hear the other rooms clearly the conversations, noises all the time...hell on earth. Yesterday was our last night, and there were kids playing football outside of our floor door at 21:30. I went outside and kindly asked to stop, as it is a place to rest, and we have to wake up really early.I did it twice, kindly. I even spoke with both of their parents. They apologised, but they didn't do anything. They kept going. My wife went to speak with the receptionist, and without hesitation, she came to speak with them. The parents answer was: "We are on holidays, innit?". We had to sleep with ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones over to be able to sleep. Every day. The Hotel should be stricter with time tables for resting and sleeping. We all deserve to have fun and rest equally, as we all pay for the Hotel services. The WiFi signal was also terrible.

Lovely hotel for a cheap few days away. Had gluten free options available and always freshly cooked stations in the restaurant. Staff very friendly and rooms cleaned daily.

Entertainment didn't start on time.. But not a major issue!

    8JohnPosted on: 10-26-2024

Food was lovely Could of had a better fruit and cereal selection

Waiting staff at dinner felt like they were just going through the motions and barely made communication

    8JoshuaPosted on: 10-26-2024

Clean hotel, room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. Everywhere else in the hotel was clean. Absolutely great location and couldn't be more perfect to get to portaventura, beach, town centre. Pool is great and also the mini pool for kids is amazing. Pool has the sun mainly all day.

Some bar staff was miserable and was literally serving in slow motion at the pool bar. Food was mediocre at the hotel, you will always find something to eat but nothing to shout about. Food is probably great for other nationalities but for English I can see a few others having the same complaint.
