Breakfast was fixed dish every day, but not nice every day. Some staff really helpful some very uninterested, details always were missing like no tea, no water and so on

Great breakfast, can shower after coming back from a trekking, curtain around the bed in dorms and there is room to store things.

No payment made in advance with booking.com when booked, though so noted. You'll have to pay in cash again or surcharge your credit card!This obviously happens to all the bookings from booking.com as the guest house has an information board with payment information for the booking.com-guests on it.I had a discussion with the staff, pretty sure that I have paid already when booked, but they said I haven't....

Good breakfast with plenty of food. Showers were also hot and powerful.

Had to leave bedroom to get to the bathroom (but that's barely an issue).

We stayed at the guesthouse of Mr. Charles, which was okay for spending the night. We booked our trekking at their place and it was an awesome trekking! The breakfast of the hotel was great and the staff was very helpful. When we came back from the trekking we were allowed to take a shower, although we were no official guests anymore (we hadnt booked anything anymore over there).

It was a bit noisy outside of the room

Staff was really flexible, they moved one day of my booking to a different date because of the trek I booked, and I could leave my luggage in the hostel during this time. They not only booked the bus for me, but gave me a lift to the bus stop. Also they serve amazing buffet style breakfast, with plenty of options.

I am Vegan it means 100% Vegetarian and the staff was very nice in providing Vegan food and creals for breakfast. Thank you very much to all of the staff specially at the restaurant. Special thanks to Miss Htwe, she prepar a Vegan banana cake for me. Also, my deep gratitud to Miss Meemee, who took me in her car for free to the train station in order to make sure that i got my train on time.

I didnt like the shower facilities they need to be improve with new showers and better doors. Also the bed sheets and pillow cases are too OLD. Please buy new ones.

Good place close by everything. Great breakfast, loved the pancakes. Option to rent bicycles close by. Nice staff.

The location is very close to the center as well as the food places. The map from the hotel was very helpful

You have to request to clean the room daily. They overcharge for walk-ins so make sure you book online before youre there

The staff can help you with everything from booking tours to recommend you on good restaurants and everything else.I did a trek with one of their guides and he was super nice -Hni Hni, if I'm spelling this correctly.On of my best experience with a hostel in Myanmar.

I think there too few shower rooms for everyone but that's not a big deal

I loved the vibe at Mr Charles - staff were super friendly and attentive - even at 5am when I had to get an early bus to Mandalay. The staff member was joking with me and even gave me a packed lunch for the trip. As a solo female traveller I was upgraded from the guesthouse to the hotel. It was great to have privacy and feel safe. Breakfast was delicious and the Ko Pee tour guides whose office is based in front of the hotel were really great too!
