The overall maintenance of the infrastructure like bathroom fittings, door locks hasn’t been done since the time they were installed.. Room doors are creaking and need herculean force to open and close.Worst part was pathetic, unprofessional and lousy approach of the staff particularly in the restaurant and at the reception The food menu for breakfast and major meal is extremely limited, like a 2 star or 3 star property.. basic spread at breakfast was missing WiFi is pathetic, despite installing another router in the roomAll paid TV channels especially English channels ( even star movies!!) are locked and on request, can’t do anything till next morning when the senior managers are around.. When enquired, casual answer from manager is that no one ever asked for these channels.!!

The food and the beach was nice

All the rooms need to be upgraded, the bathroom had one light with the floor so sticky we didn't shower for the whole stay. The bedsheet, the duvet cover and pillows were stinking and we asked them to change multiple times yet it was stinking. There were mosquitoes, Lizards and bed bugs that kept us awake all night and we have rashes all out body

the staff is not friendly the service and shower was terrible more than customer satisfaction, this hotel is more interested in extorting money without guaranteeing value for money,we spent our first night as a married couple here and we wouldn’t have a worse experience than we had. this is not even registered as a part of Serena hotels chain, they are using a big brand name to fool people and additionally making a bad reputation for the original Serena. we would like to flag this for other customers who would be swayed by this marketing fad, please don’t fall for it. Also Serena hotels should report this place for existing under their name. please make sure if you’re a young couple looking to stay at a decent resort, avoid this place. Its extortive, no human decency in the general manager and so much negative attitude in the name of customer service.

There were no hand and face towels in bathroom and even the bathroom was not washed was completely dirty.

Nice & peaceful place to stay. Resort has a direct access to private beach, it's really beautiful.

Downside is the restaurant and game zone. Food is a way expensive and not worth at all. They take too much time to prepare small dishes too. Few games in game zone are chargeable, even after paying hefty amount for overall stay.

Location is neat and good. Staff is okayish. Beds are not comfortable. No fan in room, only AC. Due to very humid weather fans also are a must.

The location is excellent. The staff could certainly do with some hospitality training and interaction with guests. This stay was a honeymoon gift for my brother and SIL

Put some music. breakfast was cold. Restaurant location and décor is very nice but very limited item and timing are also short ..only 2 hrs. breakfast hours should be atleast 7 to 10:30 if your check out time is soooo early at 10:00 am.Had ordered a Pizza but was absolutely bland and no tomato sauce. Ordered a lemon coriander soup but came out super spicy. Ordered Fried rice that came out cold but could manage with hot manchurian. Ordered spinach soup that comes as per menu with bread rolls but bread rolls were never served. Many goof ups. Atmosphere is dull with no music in the restaurant and no smile on any staff member. Toast was premade in breakfast and I requested not to do it but they stacked up and were serving them cold. Even Toaster is old and need decent arrangement of breakfast.All in all food is below average and staff is not upto the mark.

The breakfast was fine, but the meal was just OK, maybe owing to the fact that we ordered what we wanted, and not what is routine. The beach by the resort is too good, and so is everything else! One unique thing about the place is each room has a LAN outlet, for better connectivity. So go take a workation! Bonus tip: if it is a moonlit night, do not forget to take a stroll on the beach after dusk, or even in midnight!

One thing I did not understand is why would they not give bikes (bicycles). Understand, due to pandemic indoor games are closed. But bicycles?!!! Also, in meals, only prefer the usual stuff, do not be very experimentative.
