Cons -
- It didnt look clean, walls were thin, the rooms did not give a feeling of privacy.
- There was no wifiThere were no elevatorsThe sofa looked really dirty
- Location was a bit far away from where our interest point was. Shower was not ideal as the glass is hanging, therefore the whole bathroom's floor felt like a swimming pool after the first shower.

Simple facilities and good price
Poor wifi in outer building
Quiet location, but with good transport links.
The breakfast options were relatively limited, from an English perspective, but still good.
Location was next to train station
Some staff moody (not all)Breakfast limited and ran out of items with no staff around.
Clean cheap
Location location
parking, close to restaurants
access to the parking is not well illuminated/visible
The location is perfect for public transport. The subway is just outside the hotel, Altenessen trainstation is one stop by subway or a short walk. For events at the Messe it's ideal. Subway 11 takes you directly there in about 15 minutes or so.The breakfast isn't cheap at 15 Euro, but definitely worth it.The rooms are basic, but clean and neat. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The pressure of the water in the shower was a little low. Not uncomfortably so, but less comfortable then possible.
The staff was really nice
That SMELL!!! Awful. I couldn’t breath. If it weren’t for the fully booked city due to SPIEL Essen…Wouldn’t recommended going here.
Great Location, close to shop/s Lidl and restaurants. Good connection to motorways. Big car park in the back of hotel.
The TV in the room was very small and it felt very much pointless otherwise everything was good.
