    Pros +

    • All of the staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was tasty as well. The room was clean and had some nice amenities like a towel heater and a hot water heater for tea/coffee. Our room had a balcony which was a nice bonus.

    • Beautiful hotel … room very comfortable and the balcony looking over the square is pretty special.

    Cons -

    • The location is beautiful but a bit out of the way from the convention center which was our main destination. Also it took us a good 10 or so minutes when we first got there to figure out where to check in and where our room was. The layout of the building is not very intuitive.

    • Having to get an iron and ironing board to my room was the only inconvenience I encountered and this is very much a first world problem.

A very good couple of nights spent here. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The staff were helpful and quick to respond, the view was great and silent at night for sleep, the room was very nice and positive vibe and good sunlight at day. The resutalt was amazing, the burger was one of the BEST I ever had, the staff were super nice and Bastian was 5 star and took care of us every evening there.

The pillows ! They are absolutely finished and 0 life in them, I highly recommend the hotel to throw them out and buy a whole new set. I ordered 2 extra ones and they were absolutely the same

Nice hotel in the leafy suburbs. Directly on the tram line to the center of the city. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of parks in the area. Nice breakfast. Staff at the desk were very helpful. Great benefit to be able to get a VRR region train pass which gives you free access on all the regional trains, buses and trams.

Room was very spacious with lots of light but no light blocking curtain. (See photo). This made it impossible to sleep in once the sun was up. While not a big problem the kitchen staff did not speak English so I had to rely on my schoolboy German to ask for things. Also Note: late breakfast hours ONLY on Sunday, NOT Saturday. Not many restaurants are in walking distance. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as I prefer more casual/ inexpensive dining options. If that's your preference as well, don't miss the Schnitzel at the Tusem Athletic Club Restaurant nearby. It's open to the public.

The staff was super friendly and the food from the restaurant very niceMargarethenhöhe is a very unique place, full of history. And very quiet

The hotel from the outside looks very nice. The rooms were clean but super outdated.Nothing to feel comfortable. For a one night sleep it’s ok.

The Hotel is lovely, the location is central to the village, and the staff was great. loved how nice they were to us, but, if you are traveling with a pet/cat, then it is a problem... pets are allowed, but not cats.. so we booked a nice room but were moved to a tiny, less well-furbished room because we had a cat ... I am thankful they allowed us to stay, but if you travel there with a cat, keep in mind that cats are not welcome (dogs no problem). I do understand that cats may damage stuff, but ours is a very well-behaved cat, that's why we travel with her. Overall it is a lovely place with wonderful people. 24h coffee machine idea is great.

Small room for three people and a cat. Cats are not welcome (dogs are ok).

Good location, very quiet, comfortable rooms.

Charging 25 Euro for a pet seems a bit steep.

I liked the rooms, they are fancy and clean. I liked the easy check in.

    The restaurant is really expensive

The location is beautiful in the middle of the Margarethenhöhe. Due to its location right next to the little market square, though, having a room to the square side means noise from cars and walkers late at night and early in the morning potentially. Still, the historic experience is worth it!The staff is extremely nice. They go out of their ways to help with whatever the question/problem might be.Parking on the square for free is really handy.

The breakfast remained underneath our expectations. Whilst the bread rolls where excellent, the hard-boiled eggs were ice-cold, and the cheese/charcuterie platters were at room temperature it seemed. Therefore the cheese looked 'old' and little appetizing. The coffee was good though.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The property was clean and well maintained. Overall stay was satisfactory.

There isn't anything to dislike but it would be better if someone from the reception helps you to your room as it is a bit confusing for some to locate the room properly.

As usual, very appropriate for a short business stay. Close to the airport and in a peaceful environment. Good dinner and breakfast.
