The hotel was convinient for the locations we needed to access.

The room was very basic and it was not cleaned properly. there were tissue rolls and alot of dust under the bed, pizza package on top of fridge underneath the table, 1 glass only for 2 gusts, the room is very basic with very light duvet, had to leave the heating on all night to warm up. No kettle in the room and its a self check service. found it pricey for what it is.

It’s worth the money you pay . Accessible location, cooperative staff.

Room size a bit small .

My check in time was 16.00 but my work was early finished and thay gave me my key at 10.00 am, thanks again.

Room to be cleaned only ever other day.No bar facility after 22:00 hrs. Breakfast moderate.

Everything was great! the area, the staff, the room. Completely recommended for staying in Essen.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good continental breakfast. On a tramline, so very easy to get to Essen and Gelsenkirchen.

It was very hot in the rooms. We could open a window but could not place the fan anywhere near it.

The hotel is well connected between Essen Hbf and Zollverein

Terrible customer service, I've called the hotel to extend the reservation by 1 night. By phone, the hotel confirmed this change, but when we arrived at the hotel, the reception manager didn't have any idea about this extension. Instead of acknowledging the problem and the miscommunication, she scalated the situation, totally denying the change and creating an estreful situation after a long trip. She charged an unrealistic rate for a single room... Not enough with this. She was xenophobic, and in the breakfast buffet, it was located an information lettering only in our mother tongue to accuse us of taking food. That lettering was focused only on one nationality... She was aware that we speak German and English, there were more guests in the hotel but she decided to provide this information only in a foreign language. I would like to clarify that the hotel staff was polite. It was just the reception manager who has 0 hospitality skills. The windows are not well isolated, and you can hear the traffic and the tram.

Accessing building late at night can be tricky.

The location is not far from the arena stadium.

First of all. The stuffs were amazing. I arrive very very late at nigth. I had to phone them and they gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and paciente. The room is small but very clean and comfortable

Nothing. I loved everything ❤️ Nothing to complain.
