Cons -
- small rooms, minimalistic equipment on room, only one power soxket, 11" TV etc... far away parking
- Breakfast (considering the room price).Internal sound insulation (water piping)
- Room extremely small and without any table to work. Smelly carpets everywhere. This cannot be called hotel, would classify as a hostel or pension.

Central location
Room extremely small and without any table to work. Smelly carpets everywhere. This cannot be called hotel, would classify as a hostel or pension.
Friendly staff.
My room was in an overflow building across the road from the hotel. The rooms in this overflow are old, small, worn down and do not match the photos on the site. I feel like I was miss-sold.
Very friendly and heloful staff in a very clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Essen. The room was quite small but adequate for my need. Good hotvshower and excellent breakfast.
Nothing to dislike
Very friendly staff at a good location in the city.
The pillows were very soft with little support and the bed at the window side was a bit chilly.
Unfortunately i didn't eat breakfast throughout my stay there so i cannot cast a particular opinion on that ground but the saloon they served breakfast on was so dark and it can destroy your apetite
The toilet of my room was broken and it was leaking water however,i fastened its faucet and didn't let it smear water
The hotel is in central where you can get around easily, very neat, the bathroom especially, the beds were so comfy, enough lightening
We booked two rooms, the other room was so small. Just to know, there is no smart tv, just the cable tv
The staff and the location were great.
Our bathroom smelled a bit to sewer, and it would come into the room whenever we opened that door. It wasn't terrible, but for the price, this was definitely unexpected.
The location was good, and near the centre.
The bathroom was very small. The sofa that sells for an single bed is really hard, uncomfortable and very small for an adult. You can hear the other room bathroom when it flushes the wc or open the water and it’s very noisy and annoying. Also, in my opinion the breakfast should have been on the price.
The hotel was conveniently located in a central area, but the excessive noise made it hard to enjoy the stay.
The hotel carpet was filthy, and we even found two spiderwebs that clearly hadn’t been put up for Halloween.
stuff were super friendly.small room but enough.
a bit too loud outside during the night.the curtain for shower is too easy, have to take care to not give the water outside.bed making was a bit too rough.there is no mini bar in the room but you can ask to reception if you wanna put something in the fridge.
Location was quite central. For me it was good as it was near my office and I was looking for something in walking distance.
Room Structure was not good. Bed was stuck in a corner and you need to go in your bed from the foot side, no side table or place to get into your bed. There was a small window which was opening on a big terrace so opening the window was also little unsafe and no air-conditioning :(
Had an early check in. Polite front staff.Good location. No notice as room was at the back.
No lifts.Pillow could have been thicker or extra pillow available.
Bad
I booked a room. But it does not correspond to what I chose on the website. chose a room with one bed for two people. and I was given a room with two beds. The beds are very small, there is not even room for things. The room is much smaller than advertised. The room does not correspond at all to what is stated on the website.
No AC or airflow. Very very small room.
Room was so so so small. That tiny walk way it did have in the room to the bed was so narrow that me and my friend kept wacking our legs on the heater knob and bruising our legs, due to it being in the the narrow walk way. It was 90 degrees outside and no AC or airflow. It was so so hot and uncomfortable. We opened the door to the hallway and the hallway was about 10 degrees cooler. Shower was a dumb set up. Flooded the bathroom floor every time. No room at ALL to move around. Room was a fraction of the size I thought it would be. Tiny tiny elevator.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean.
I didn’t love the location. It felt a bit unsafe walking from the main part of town to the hotel. It was loud at night and lots of people smoking/yelling so we couldn’t keep our windows open and there wasn’t a fan in the room.
Staff was polite and the room was clean
Room was old fashioned.Streetnoise was very loud.Shower flooded the bathroom.Bed was really hard.Breakfast was poor and bad quality. The price was too high for the bad quality of the room
