There were two young women at the reception who were so disrespectful to me, and because of a minor miscommunication by Booking.com, they just wanted to kick me out of the hotel even though I did nothing and paid properly. More attention should be paid to this, because as guests, we certainly don't accept this behavior.

A big room setting.

It was not clear if the hearing system was working. I was not sure if the air conditioner was functioning for the heat. It will be better if there is any room or hotel guides in the room.

Poor

I had troubles with Booking app, firstly manager told me Booking did not contact them and the next day he told me he can’t do anything with my issue because it’s too late. Very disappointing behaviour.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Spacious room.

Bedding made of synthetic fiber. Stiff sofa bed. Expected something more comfortable for a room advertised for 4.

Location is appropriate is you travel in car

We were amazed by the interior design, which was thoughtfully done around the theme of Zollverein. The decoration featured images inspired by it, which we found reflected beautifully in our room. The attention to detail in the color scheme and theme choice was of excellent taste, making our stay truly special.

Hotel is nice, but workers...

I had a issue with booking app and by mistake booked same room 3 times. I wanted to cancel those 2 extra rooms and hotel did “a gesture of a good will” and cancel just 1 room. They also lied to me about the dealing process with Booking manager, instead of doing what is right they offered me free breakfast (it’s 15€ and room was around 80€). I paid for my breakfast and it was not worth the money, got there around 9am and bar was almost empty, lots of dirty dishes on the tables and coffee doesnt taste good.

The room dirty the shower broken I don’t gel for shower a lot of noise uncomfortable

The neatness

Separate bed and they should make there passage doors automatic instead of manual as the doors are too heavy when u have to carry your luggage and open the doors

All of the staff are very friendly and willing to help. I requested a bath but didn't have one on check-in, this was immediately remedied by the on-duty staff. The room looked lovely, with tall windows and nice furniture. It was light and spacious. Air-conditioning was easy to arrange yourself with the remote control attached to the wall. The bed slept like a dream, soft and comfy. I had a heavy suitcase, so I was extra glad that there were elevators! The metro stops literally around the corner. Oh, and if you have time, go visit Ruebys cafe at 10min walking distance. Great ambiance and delicious food & drinks.

Comfortable, clean, well located, very attentive staff and good breakfast.

WiFi was almost nonexistent in my room, which made it impossible to either work with my laptop or even watch anything on the smart TV.

Even though it was next to a busy road, I highly recommend anybody who wants a cheap hotel for a night or two with a very nice breakfast and lovely staff.

The location is slightly daunting if you don’t know your way around. Not clear on parking either.

The room was fantastic and a very large size. We came in with 2 small children and everyone had plenty of room and slept very well. The room was clean and the hotel overall was very nice. Great place!

There is only street parking for this hotel. We didn't have a huge problem finding a spot, but dragging in bags late at night from down the street is not ideal.

The room is new, clean, beautifully decorated and confortable.

Staff are truly friendly and willing to help. The location is perfect.

I booked a room with one queen bed, but there were twin single beds even if we changed the room once.

It is a very clean hotel, it has a good location, the staff is also very polite. I recommend it.
