Room was soooo small. no room to open up my luggage on the ground

Strategy location, easy to find parking, downstairs is makmak stalls easy to get food

Got cockroaches inside the room….

Nice staff, clean, enough space

Bed was the second worst I've slept in in Malaysia. Hard and could feel the springs. Ac only went down to 18. Water puddle accumulated near door.

Was lucky with my room, which was surprisingly big and quiet. Good aircon, hot water, everything works, comfy bed. Great staff and very hospitable owner couple.

Semporna is small so you get everywhere quickly by Grab, but using Grab is also necessary as its location is kinda in the middle but not near to anywhere you’d wanna be. Some good food options directly around, though,

The location is good. About 450 meters walking to the marina. The staff is nice and they can help you arrange the trips to different islands.!There are a lot of restaurants and a small supermarket around the area.

Too crowded. Not enough space to turn around inside the room. Door is really hard to lock and unlock. Shower water is lack of pressures.

It has an open balcony, with table and chairs outside. You can even enjoy a morning sun rise, if lucky enough to catch the early morning sun! The freedom you feel is great, and with clean towels, bedsheets. Able to hang washed clothes outside the room with hangers in the balcony but the wind could be strong. Excellent balcony!

Have to get hot water outside in the service counter sitting room, as no drinking water is provided inside the room.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Lovely cats.

Sometimes people talk a bit loudly in the balcony at night (12:00am-2am), just right outside my room. And kids sometimes jump up and down upstairs at night.

It was just awesome and so family-like i never experienced it before while traveling. The Host Tony and his Wife June provide several Tours and also Snorkeling and Diving and both speak very good english and chinese. His Wife is local and speaks perfect Malay too. So she knows a lot of people around Borneo and is always finding solutions for your travel in any price range you wish. The rooms have western standard and are very clean, with Aircon sometimes even a projector, provide shampoo, towels and that for an awesome price. The staff is also very friendly and helps you out with your everyday needs. The diving equipment you can borrow here was in very good condition.Tony is an experienced diveinstructer, who knows where to go and when. We did some dives with several companies wich they booked for us. So we could dive last minute in Sipadan, Mabul, Pom Pom and other Islands in just 3 days. From the guesthous it s just 2 minutes to the Jetty where all the Divingboats departure. Even doing the Advanced Open water Course was possible last minute After diving you can relax and take a Spa Treatment, soak your feet or get a massage right next door in June's Spa.... and again for an awesome price. The Beautysalon is very nice and comfortable.From the balcony on the frontside of the building you can even see the sea and one of the bigger islands where you can also take a hike on the mountain there with breathtaking view!

That we ichhad to leave and continue traveling, it was hard to leave such a nice and heartfull family.

Location and bright signage - easy to navigate. Lots of facilities nearby. Walking distance to key transport hubs (buses, jetties). Comfy bed and good water pressure.

Tiny and low sink - uncomfortable. Odd smell from bathroom. Front desk not very responsive, lots of buffer time needed, not for anyone on a tight schedule.

Superb location,a few minutes from the 1st jetty,a few minutes form the bus terminal.The staff is incredible,not just the owner.They helped us with everything we asked for.Roomms are really tiny,but there is a big reception room,where you can also use kitchen,there are always coffee,tea and noodles available.

Clean rooms and lobby. Staff are friendly. You can use their diving service and it’s cheaper than the diving centers in town but maintains the quality of boat and equipment. The boss, Tony, is English and he focuses on you enjoying the place. My wife is Chinese and we did our diving license with a bilingual instructor. This area is a little bit nicer than other areas of the city, they recommend great places to eat, plus is a short walk to the jetty and the intercity buses.

Rooms are a little small but Semporna is a diving place so you won’t likely be in your room all day.

The room was advertised to be soundproof and what we got was the exact opposite. We can hear people walking from the reception and outside the corridor. The condition was acceptable if "soundproof" was not advertised as a feature for that room

Location close to jetty and centre.

Immediately upon arrival, told didn't accept credit card even though booking..com said they did. Not had enough cash on me was told to go to cash machine immediately before entering room.Main reason for booking this place was advised had sound proofing for room.Check photo, not quite sound proofed.After terrible night sleep due to the loud noise outside (staff and road), we decided to check out as room not sound proof as per description. Owner refused to refund next few days, and after a very long disagreement and having escalated with Booking.com we left and was refunded money at a later stage.

Don't t take cards, nearest bank a dodgy walk away. Restaurant downstairs not open during Ramadan. No local dinner or breakfast options.Bathroom mouldy.

Staff was very nice. The room was clean. It's a little bit on the outskirts of the town but walkable in about 10/15 mins. There is hot water for tea and coffee available.

The room and bathroom are quite small.

no storage room for any of your stuff. It is very claustrofaubic with two travellers and two backpacks + 2 bags. Please arrange hangers, drawers (under the bed), and planks to create some storage room.

Very bad experience..the room size worst than tune hotel.. toilet no way to hang cloth ..no TV . only useless projector..need close all light only and no point to hv a show if somebody need light to do something
