The Gidgee Inn

Cool and quiet because of the rammed earth construction.Spacious and very clean cabin.Very comfortable bed.Buddy Boy restaurant was very good indeed!

Nothing much to fault in particular.

Very friendly helpful front desk person. Laundry facilities (no cost) were available (but I didn't need them).

The Gidgee Inn far exceeded our expectations. The room was 200%. The staff at the front desk, and in the restaurant were all extremely professional, friendly, and made us fee welcome.

Not a thing(unless we count there is no Gidgee Inn near where we live for future stays)

This is a good hotel for a comfortable short stay in Cloncurry. The restaurant is fine for its kind.

Have stayed at this property previously - wonderful large rooms, very comfortable bed, absolutely no noise from the neighboring room which means a great night sleep.

This was a great choice to unwind from long days of travel. Very clean, cool, comfy beds, shower pressure was great and they have good smart TV's. The staff were very nice. It's quiet too. Dinner was fairly standard but it was handy to have somewhere to go on site.

Very minor - the shower tiling around the floor needs replacing.

We have travelled from Hervey Bay to Darwin and now on our return home. The Gidgee Inn is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in during our travels. We have stayed overnight at Emerald, Winton, Barkly Homestead, Daly Waters.

Have already ticked those boxes, size of room, cleanliness, comfortable. Couldn’t fault it.

A fairly new property reasonably well maintained. Quite a surprise for a small town out west.

The wooden venetians didn’t work so couldn’t see outside

It is a property I have stayed at in numerous occasions. It is clean, roomy and comfortable

The coffee making area is not ideal trying to wrestle with microwave oven.

The rooms are off the highway and so don't hear the trucks going past.

The beds were really uncomfortable. They had sunken out of shape and had no integrity to them.

Nice and clean, undercover parking, lovely pool and well positioned.

The thought of it being right on the main highway the rooms had great sound proofing… barely heard the cars and prime movers at all ☺️

It’s not so much the property but the town itself doesn’t really have much opened in the aspect of things to do or any variety of restaurants, café or shops.

The pool and bbq area was tidy and pretty clean.

There wasn't room service delivery.

5 Star Accommodation! The loveliest receptionist who was so welcoming and friendly, an absolutely beautiful room with the most comfortable bed, a lovely clean room that ticked every box for me.

There’s nothing to dislike! It’s a beautiful motel.

The Gidgee Inn was lovely and comfortable. A Great team of Staff members work here. The room we were in was nice and large with everything we needed to make our own breakfast. Having a Microwave and toaster in our room was fantastic. Shower was great with the convenience of added toiletries.
