Lake Munmorah Motel

The location.

Was very hard to find the room. No staff on sight and so there was no assistance.

Wasn't so far away easy to find friendly staff nice rooms

I had nothing I didn't like

The beds were comfortable and the cleaning lady was very pleasant, but that was it

This motel does not have twin rooms so I had to pay for a triple room which was $34 dearer per night. When we got to the room, there was a table and chairs outside but hadn't been cleaned, at the side of this was a ceramic bucket full of water and about 20 cigarette butts, when we turned on the shower the there was water spraying out of every join causeing water to spray every so by the end of my shower the toilet and all the floor was wet as it sprayed up over the shower screen, they provided dishes and cutlery but no dishwashing liquid or tea towels to dry them with. The TV had perminent coloured strip's going down the right side, we opened the window to find the screen all buckled so had to shut the window again and staff were very difficult to find. Definitly was not up to standard of the usual booking I make on Bookings.comand to charged $150 a night for it I was not happy and would never recommend it or stay there again

Affordable QuietConvenient location as we had a function to attend close by.Room was clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

Had a slight musty smell probably just old, could do with a bit of a spruce up, but still can't really complain had all we needed and was cosy.

Stay there regularly for work. Very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed staying there.

There are sirens going all night. It didn't feel safe leaving anything in the truck. The accommodation is great but area around isn't. I only stay for work so really just go back to sleep.

Exceptionally clean.

Check in stated 8pm. No one in attendance. We had to phone to check in. We were told it was a public holiday but nowhere on any of the information that we received did we see this. The bed was a spring mattress. Was being the operative word, now you can except springs. Pillows were hard memory foam. Very uncomfortable.

We chose this property as an overnight stay on a drive from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast, based on location and price, and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and pleasantly quiet despite the main road position. We ate a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant just next door, which was also handy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the motel as good value for money.

The location was great for our purpose of visit for overnight reasonable priced accommodation The bathroom was large The room was cleanLots of accessible PowerPoints Despite a few negatives we have if we had to stay again I would consider it maybe asking for a different room

The fact it was supposed to be 2 bedroom and you walked in the door straight into one bedroom and had to go through the other to get to the kitchen so if you wanted to make a cuppa or go outside you were waking/ interrupting the other person We also asked for pay at check in and arrived and went to pay and were told it was already taken out of account other friends staying also had that experience The TV in one of our rooms was not tuned in properly Paint was peeling of the walls could do with a face lift and repair driveway entery has lots of pot holes

2pm check in, turned up at 2:40 told room not ready but would be in 20 mins. Gave us key so we could go straight in. Returned 45 mins later, went to room and cleaner still there. Abused by cleaner when we asked how much longer. Waited a further 20 mins for room to be ready. Note cleaner apologised when she was finished for going off at a simple question but not good enough. Bedding - Main bed and one of the singles was fine, 2nd single almost swallowed my daughter due to springs being so poor, effectively unable to sleep for the night. Shower door unable to be closed properly resulting in wet floors

I had no power to air conKettle or toaster.I don't think it should have been my responsibility to find main switches. I spent the night with no tv, no coffee no microwave or toaster

The room & bathroom were clean & the bed comfortable.

There was a broken chair in our room with a note on the seat advising not to sit there. It should have been removed & replaced for safety. There were no staff at reception on our arrival or departure & I had to phone the number provided four times before someone picked up to tell me which key card to take from the box on the front desk.

It was convenient for where we needed to be

The lighting outside our window flashed all night. Someone took 2 car spots so we had to park elsewhere on the property but later when I spoke to the office they were pleasant and apologetic

We chose this for the location close to where we needed to be. The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable, air-conditioning worked well and it had everything we needed for n overnight stay. Parking was easy to access. There was an Italian Restaurant next door but we chose to walk to the nearby Bowling Club for dinner. Check in was easy as the key was ready waiting for us. We will be happy to stay here again.

Beds were comfortable and linen and towels were clean.

The website photos are nothing like the rooms. There wasn’t even a single table or a chair in the whole place, and only one bedside lamp in each double room. Everything was extremely dated. There were no pictures on the walls but lots of holes where they have been removed . The beds looked like second hand furniture, not like the lovely ones with fabric bedheads on the website. The shower over the bath with a horrible shower curtain is awful. The bathroom has two sinks but the hot water tap only works in one. The top of the bathroom door has been chopped off! One remote control didn’t work at all and the other remote control had tape falling off the back that was supposed to keep the batteries in! I could go on…Location is right on the highway so it’s VERY noisy.

TV’s had issues, 1 the remote didn’t work and the other couldn’t get a picture on it.

Large room and extremely clean! Bed very comfortable and very good amenities. Easy walk to local club.

The only thing would be the updating the pillows, other than that, nothing else.

The attitude of the member of staff ,no internet did care ,when you're alone that is the only form of communication,she just didn't care very poor ,also couldn't be bothered to get the key so I could have a drink cycling 100 k to this destination

It is the only accommodation in Lake Munmorah. Clean and today rooms. Reasonably priced.

Can’t comment on the staff. They weren’t available when we checked in or checked out.
