Ten Dollar Town Motel

Ability to park my motorcycle off-street and in front of the room door.Room facilties were excellent.TV options were excellent.Included breakfast in the café met my expectations.Overall location was very central.

Very minor, but in the breakfast dining room, the aircon was blowing strongly out of the ceiling vents. Given the morning was quite cool and pleasant, I felt it a bit much and moved my seating position to where it was minimal.

Good 'find', lovely room. Close to restaurants and pubs and good value

It’s in a fantastic location. Walking distance to everything.

Left our towels in a pile on the floor to be changed as per the instructions and hung the ‘please tidy our room’ sign on the door. Returned late that night to our wet towels still in a pile on the floor and our used coffee cups still in the room. Had to shower using the wet towels from the floor. Reception’s excuse was as it wasn’t busy cleaner didn’t come in. We still paid so not really good enough. Also shower was missing tiles where you stand and paint peeling off everywhere.

Good cheap- needs a new key lock front door. Shower there is a leak in the hob which is the smell in the room but really the place was excellent value for money. opposite a great pub and air conditioner was wonderful. Owner was very nice and Gulgong is a great little town to visit especially the Museum. Been here for the poets festival and such a good vibe. Congratulations to the free booklet about the township. Also the brekky is great value. Thanks again we will be back

Aww- maybe the leaky shower but that can be fixed. Still great value for three adults.

It was clean, comfortable, conveniently located and breakfast was nice. Staff friendly.

The TV didn't work, which was inconvenient as we were in Gulgong for a daytime event and at night there was a storm so we were in our room. A TV would have been nice.

A nice motel in a really interesting town. The staff were pleasant and the motel comfortable.

The room was a bit old and tired looking. But everything worked.

The accommodation was better than expected - the room was obviously recently renovated and had everything we needed. The breakfast was served in a separate building which was a little confusing, but OK once it was explained. Altogether really good value for money,

Hotel is in an outstanding location The hotel manager was amazing, one minute he was the hotel manager and the next, taking our meal orders at the restaurant - whatever he is being paid, needs to be doubled. Rooms are clean and much better than expected. The included breakfast was also outstanding.

I can't fault the place

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Close to CBD. Great little kitchette. Perfect for my requirements.

There didn't seem to be a parking spot for room number 10 which was the room I was in. I was actually challenged by another guest for parking where I did.

There was some confusion with my booking which was for 2 nights not one and for a different room.

Fairly dated with limited facilities.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was lovely with a few choices to choose from. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.
