Super friendly staff and a cosy, relaxed vibe. The rooms were crisp, clean and a geat size retro bathroom, the mini fridge/freezer worked well, parking convenient to room access and the beds were super comfy! Will stay again

Dated but comfortable for a night. Gulgong is small so location was bound to be central. Parking out the back near rooms.

Smoking area outside rooms, walking through the smokers pit to get to my room wasn’t pleasant.

The noise until late at night right outside my door; the street light right outside my window that made the room very bright all night despite the thin blind, and the locked gate which fortunately I realised was not locked but gave the appearance of when I needed to leave early for an event. That delay made me late. The bathroom fittings were overdue for replacement; no tissues; no hairdryer .

I booked and sent a message saying we would be arriving at 11pm. I received a response saying that check in was available until midnight. When we arrived at 11pm they were closed, no answer on the phone, by email, or from us knocking on the door. We were stuck in a small country town in the middle of the night with no accommodation. I wouldn't risk booking here, I got my money back from booking.com but the hotel claimed they hadn't received the booking, and that I should have contacted them directly to confirm the late check in.

Great location. Staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. Safe place to park you car and multiple eating options all within walking distance.

1x Pillow case looked like they had been dropped in the dust on one side and then put on the bed. The shower has dark splash marks that were easily wiped away but must have been missed this one time when it was cleaned. It was otherwise it was spotless and I would stay here again.

Clean rooms, very comfortable bed. Manager put the MotoGP on the tv for us, very grateful for that.

Water pressure in the shower was terrible (room 2, friends in room 3 had no problems)

The room was cosy and comfortable, and the air conditioning kept it nice and warm overnight even though it was only 3°C outside. The bathroom area was a little on the cool side, but that really wasn’t a problem. We also had lunch there, and the food was delicious with very generous portions.

There was a little noise from outside, such as car doors closing or people talking, but it was fairly quiet overall and not disruptive. You could also hear a bit from the rooms next door, though only faintly.

Good quality pub room. Food was excellent and staff were wonderful

loud piped music in the beer garden...our room was off that area....far too loud....

Used the restaurant only for main meals - very good country menu and excellent chef!

Awkward position of TV for viewing in the small room.

Friendly staff and great community. Great history and you could almost feel the gold rush vibe in the area.Loved it.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The Meals were fantastic and the service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Upon check in the publicans had a wonderful chat with us and gave the kids some lollies after checking in (they checked with me first if it was okay to do so). On the second night when we ate there my youngest child became upset and tired and the female publican asked me if she could give her an ice block, I agreed and she came back with an icey pole wrapped in paper towel and asked her if she could do anything else for her, such beautiful service even when they were super busy!

Very generous people and extremely comfortable rooms with great shower. Newly renovated and modern bedroom with retro bathroom. Very characteristic pub.

Gulgong is a great place. Very nice town. Pub is centrally located (which is not hard in Gulgong as it's a small place) Rooms are ok for a night. Beds are comfortable

If you are there on Saturdays be prepared for lots music fun the pub. It's karaoke night.Light is shining in from the street even with the blickt blinds down
