Bluegum Dubbo

Beautiful room. Well designed, modern, clean and fresh. Jasmine and Damon are the best owners, so thoughtful and helpful. With such high temperatures it was lovely to cool off in the saltwater pool and they provided towels.

The staff, particularly Damon, were super lovely and went above and beyond to help us with an issue that came up there. They have good security - lots of CCTV coverage. The bed was SUPER comfy and the room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. You can tell they have put a lot of effort into renovating and improving an older motel to make it modern and well appointed. It very well located close to the middle of town with a lot of good food nearby. Despite the heat we walked to a lot of our meals.

The pool was out of order on one day we were there when we could have really used it (37 degrees), but these things happen! One of the chairs in our room was old and the faux leather was peeling and leaving debris on me and the floor. Otherwise the room was modern, comfortable and spotless, so it was a little out of place.

Friendly and helpful staff, refurbished rooms nicely done and very clean.

We have stayed here before and love the location and the size of the rooms. The facilities are great. Easy to get to off the highway and close enough to all the restaurants and hotels.

Bathroom floor and around the shower were dirty, you could feel the dirt under your feet and the shower was a little slippery too. Also 8pm check out close puts people travelling a distance under pressure to make sure nothing goes wrong, especially when they already have the money.

Everything was excellent. The gentleman at reception was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to deal with he kindly upgraded our room upon request, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the outstanding service.The rooms were spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to my friends, family, and anyone looking for clean, spacious, and well-located accommodation in Dubbo, close to shops, restaurants, and the zoo.

My only recommendation will be to the housekeeping team not to knock the doors at 9am and try to get in as the check out is 10am.

Great location- only an 8 minute drive to the Zoo and a range of dinner options close by.The staff were welcoming and friendly.The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable.We loved meeting the “Bluegum motel cat”, who lives on the property- so cute!

The walls are quite thin, so you can hear other guests in their rooms. However most guests were very quiet at night, so this didn’t end up being an issue for us. One side of the shower screen leaked onto the floor, this didn’t bother us as it wasn’t where we walked, but thought we’d mention it so it can be fixed

Clean, modern and spacious room with comfortable bed. Lots of table space for anyone who needs to do some work or have a cuppa. Convenient kitchenette

The property owner was fantastic, we arrived in the afternoon after a long day of driving and she quickly sorted our room. Best service I have had to be honest and as a result I was upgraded to a bigger room. The room was super quiet and the bed topped it off being so comfortable. Terrific service and highly recommended. I’ll be back for sure, thanks for looking after me my and my young fellow. He loved it.

It was great - clean, comfy and central! Damon, on checkin, had some helpful tips of places to eat, good coffee. Absolutely perfect for our needs.

This is the best motel I have stayed in Dubbo, it has a hotel feel, clean, new, elegant decor, well equipped, great location, amazing outdoor pool, friendly and professional customer service. Thank you so much Jas and Damon!

Nothing other than it was a little out of the main city street but seriously that wasn’t even that far.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with modern and stylish décor. Our room was well-equipped with all essentials, ensuring a convenient stay. The pool area was spotless and modern. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the price was very reasonable for the excellent amenities and service provided. Also, it is very close to all amenities. The cake shop across the road from the accommodation had the best coffee, cakes, and sandwiches/rolls. Highly recommended the accommodation!!!

There was nothing we didn't like.

We recently stayed at the Bluegum Motel for two nights while driving from Brisbane to Sydney, and it served as the perfect stopover for our visit to the Dubbo Zoo. The facilities were very nice, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds that made for a restful night’s sleep. We loved the added touch of having room service available, along with a Nescafé coffee machine and milk frother with daily replenishment of coffee pods was a nice added touch. The lovely pool was a refreshing bonus, ideal for a quick dip after a long day of travel. The staff at reception were friendly and professional, making us feel welcome right from the start.Location-wise, Bluegum is excellent, being conveniently close to the zoo and within reach of Dubbo's town center where we found great shopping options and nice restaurants and cafe’s.

As for the downsides, there really was nothing to complain about. While the room was typical in size for a motel, it exceeded our expectations as a quick stopover.

Five star all the way ! So clean , fresh & beautiful styling the bed was like sleeping in the clouds & the linen was clean & crisp …..

The staff were very helpful. The location was close to good restaurants and the room was very clean and quite modern. I will be back
