Pros +
- Old and tired - but honest, clean and cheap.Met my expectations. Staff were lovely.
- A good place to stay with dogs and a nice place close by to walk and toilet then after a long drive .Macca's and a servo are convenient and it is quiet at night.
- We had misgivings when we arrived to find a bevy of tradies in their work utes also staying at the motel in units right alongside us as we were hoping for a good night's sleep after a big day of driving. However, the tradies were excellent (gentlemen all) and we found them to be super considerate. We never heard a peep from them. And the reason they were there? They told us the restaurant onsite does really good meals and the rooms represent really good value. It's an older style motel - think the 70's - with smaller rooms and older furnishings. But we couldn't fault the quietness, the comfort of the bed, or the effectiveness of the blockout curtains over the generous windows. The best night's sleep during the whole trip. A blissful 10 1/2 hours!
Cons -
- The restaurant food was not very well made. Was fresh/good produce but badly executed.Simplify the menu to breads/4 or 5 starters/6 or 7 mains/2 or 3 deserts and please please PLEASE use seasoning and improve your timing.Only 3 covers in the restaurant when there - so no excuses IMVHO.Staff were lovely though and tried hard.
- Bathrooms need an upgrade. But you can't pick and choose travelling with pets.
- On arrival the first room I was allocated had a rubbish no. Over flowing and the bed was not made. The shower could have done with a scrub with Domestos. The bench top under the TV needs to be replaced. It’s coming apart and is disgusting. The plastic covering of the aircon pipes needed dusting. The pillows stunk. I had to put a towel over it to sleep on it. I have photos if you wish to see them.

Totally disgusted.

Location was perfect to have access to the Memorial oval, straight across the road.Good size bathroom & shower, water pressure was strong.
Bed was hard.
Good value, close to town..Room was very clean and didn't smell of high grade cleaner which I absolutely hate because most times it's used as a cover up for dirty carpets or a previous smoker, this room was very fresh..
Only the noisy neighbors which are at every motel in the country..
It was good
There where kids over at the school making really loud sounds then running past our room really late at night
Clean and comfortable and it was great that there was a restaurant attached. The food was awsom. Location was within walking distance to everything
All was good, no complaints
Motel was pretty central to everything & pet friendly. There's a big park close by where I took the dog. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and AC was good. The shopping centre was less than 10 minutes away and Woolies was 2-3 minutes away. The place was clean and staff friendly. Happy to recommend this place.
There's no parking spot directly in front of my unit so had to park in front of other units. Other than this, no complaints at all!
Location was pretty good. Bed comfortable and shower hot. But badly need of maintaince as sink had no proper cover on drain could easily lose objects and pipes old. Tv worked.
The pool was green and not open to visitors. Breakfast was no go for us as told cook finished at 7amand started about 5 am we were checking out at 1030 so really wanted a later breakfast. We didnt get in till just b4 7 pm due to big change in our day. Needed to get takeaway as late to order in restruant that was ok just bowls and crockery would have helped .
Being able to park at the door. It was quiet too and handy for shops and restaurants.
Tired and dated
Good shower,comfortable bed,great breakfast ?
All good ?
Great spot easy to get to Woolworths
The pool was green and couldn't swim in it woke to a room full of ants wasn't happy one bit about it
locationfriendly staffRoom serviceclean
the location is very good and central to the town centre. and the facilities were good with ample parking.staff very friendly and helpful.
Comfy beds, basic budget room, perfect for an overnight stop on a long drive
Warm welcome
No flannel Opened the handbasin door to find the back wall damaged and possible moldThe room was in need of full update
Not much.
Got changed to another room without even seeing the one I had booked. Wasn't offered the difference in a refund without having to ask. Shower was dirty. Beds uncomfortable.
Location was good, everything you need was there
The bathroom and toilet area could be a little more clean as there is dirt built up around the tiled floor near sink and around toilet and shower
Clean. Friendly staff. Two chairs in room. Was able to get dishes and cutlery. Good aircon. Kettle, fridge, microwave and tea / coffee. Great location.
Pillows a bit flat. Only one hand towel. Expensive restaurant menu. Very disappointed that the swimming pool was not in order. Wasn't warned about this when booking online so didn't know until we arrived and went looking for the swimming pool!
