Room 28 was very nice, very spacious.

You need internet access on your phone to get access to the wifi password.

The property is a mix of the nostalgic past (motel side) and a number of individual cabins in a great location. I stayed in the motel side. Dated but very well cared for.

I really didn’t have anything to not like.

We had a room that had recently undergone renovations that improved the overall quality of the room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus the addition of free access to Foxtel was a great bonus!We arrived after business hours and had to contact staff through a phone mounted on the wall outside the office, and instructed to get our room key in the safe box next to the phone using the PIN the staff provided over the phone. It was very easy to get our key through this method, so don't be alarmed if you find yourself arriving after business hours.

I might not have looked properly, but a wheelie bin for larger rubbish (e.g pizza box) could be provided to properly discard rubbish.

Location & pool although l didn’t use it

No microwave in the room & the sheets are washed on site ,when they really should be sent off to be washed in industrial washing machines! The sheets were wrinkled when they should be pressed. Saving money is one thing but this is not the way to do it.

On more than one occassion prior to arrival I requested an early book in as we had a 14.30 wedding,I emailed , phoned a month before and made phone calls, 2 days before, an even on the way to Port Pirie on the day,assured it would be ready, on arrival at approx 13.30 we then had to wait for the room to be cleaned and then had to rush dressing, the cleaners told me had they known they would have cleaned earlier,, communication to staff would be good. Other guest had their rooms earlier

Quiet unit located away from the street.

I am rating it's facilities poor more from the safety point of view. This motel is probably ill prepared to handle any emergency. There was a town-wide power disruption during my stay. The entire motel went completely dark. The emergency lights placed throughout the compound were a joke - they were so dim and there were so few of them that they barely made any difference, and in any case they all went off after just a few minutes. Guests were trying to knock on the reception office door or attempting to make calls to the after-hours number, all to no avail. It was fortunate that the blackout only lasted 2 hours. But one can't help but wonder what will happen if when something more serious happens. Will they then be able to adequately ensure the safety of their guests?

Nice and tidy

Fridge didn't keep the stuff cold. Could of done with a bigger TV and a kitchen.

The bathroom was beautiful and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and so was the blanket. I liked that it wasn’t as modern as everything else. I’ve never seen bathroom tiles that gorgeous before. The staff was amazing and sweet to us.

The pillows were horrible. I couldn’t use the outlet near the bed without moving the entire ensemble out the way. And the bedside on the left side was too far from the bed I had to move it closer. It’s a separate issue but the restaurant messed up my food. It had anchovies in my salad which I specifically asked not to have. I couldn’t eat my meal that was paid for.

I liked the pool for my daughter. It would be nice if heated. I liked the family room, breakfast kits and friendly staff.

KS bed was very comfortable. Rom on the whole was well appointed. I thought the bathroom a bit dated but clean.

Convenient location, clean and comfortable bed. Loved the Complimentary snacks, water and small wine.

Everything was fine

Spaced out occupants so no direct neighbors. Clean and comfortable bed. Generous welcome pack with wine, chocolate, potato chips etc. Parking right outside the door. Leave key in room on check out made it easy for early departure.

Toilet paper was on the last square on the roll had to hunt for a spare roll. Wifi password didn't work. Bedside lamps had dodgy switches which didn't work well.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and clean and very spacious, and the bathroom was nice and clean, the staff were really friendly, it was quite, had a place to park right outside the room, heaps of facilities including laundry, pool, restaurant etc. definitely going to be staying again

Good location, amenities are good. Cheaper price compared to others

Some small bugs/insects were seen but didn't really bother us.

Great room, clean and spacious, shower was great!Fantastic value for money and a lovely little welcome pack of wine and nibbles!
