On expection of the property we chose to stay elsewhere, forfetting our payment for the night's stay

We were very disappointed, upon arrival to see the external state of the property and the reception area not being manned. we rang the number as advised but there was no pick up. We had to go around the back to find a mobile number. The property was listed as a 4 star accommodation, which it is certainly not. The only heating was an old electric heater hidden in a wardrobe and there was only one pillow per person. As an older couple we have become accustomed to what to expect in the $150 price range and this property was far from meeting our expectations.

Room was fresh and clean. The beds were comfy. Everything we needed for one night was available.

The blinds in the door window were open and there was no way to close them. It wasn't an issue for dressing the way the room was situated but it did let in a lot of light in during the night.

Car wash next door was being used until 3am and was very noisy

Fresh linen and clean bathroom. Early check in. Staff were very accommodating. Bed and pillows were very comfortable

The extra door opposite the bathroom. It was locked but it felt off. No water pressure in the shower and it took some time to get the water to an appropriate temperature to wash. Hard cold floors throughout no rugs or softness

Good value - kitchenette facilities were helpful.

Unfortunately the noise from the restaurant next door was frustrating.

Room was clean and comfortable

There was no TV remote in the room so I phoned the mobile listed at Reception which was not manned at all.I phoned at 4.45pm and the guy said he would get someone to attend. I waited and waited but nobody showed and there was no contact. For a motel that states "our goal is to provide outstanding service" the failed miserably. Whilst it wasnt a major issue it demonstrated their lack of care for their guests.

The beds were comfy and room and facilities were clean. Close to town and facilities.

The bed was comfy but too soft, so woke up achey

The room was nicely done although the bathroom needed a bit more cleaning but overall good.

The queen size bed was uncomfortable and gave my daughter a backache also it would have been better with 3 beds in the room.

Room was clean and tidy and quite modern.

The shower rose was broken and the hot and cold mixer for the shower only gave hot or cold water with limited pressure to have reasonable shower.

It was clean and beautiful

You can hear the people between the walls, do not think there is a lot of block between the walls.

Not clean, beds are mattresses stacked on floor, can see through door from outside and unable to make private. Did not stay in room and went elsewhere. Everyone got itchy from being in room.

The room was fabulous very new fit out and very clean. The building is older but we could not fault our room.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We got there a little later and did not see anyone but we got a message and everything was clearly explained and very easy to follow.

Room was clean.Comfy bed and good facilities. Block out blind on front windows was a bonus no light early in the morning.

Unfortunately the air-conditioner was quite noisy.Some dimmer lights or lamps would have been perfect.

Location is great & the motel room was very good at a reasonable price.

The office was unattended. A text was sent to me around the time I had arrived telling me how to access a key lock box. I had no idea this wax going to happen & did not look at the text message until later. Once we sorted that out, things went OK.

Outside looked pretty awful and there were no staff on hand

so I nearly didn't stay but after calling the phone number supplied I got into the room which was roomy, clean and tidy

the hand towel was dirty with someone's makeup on t the bath mat was dirty . and there was some ones hair still in the bathroom on the floor near the toilet .no iron in the room

The power worked, the water worked, and the door locked. Centrally located.That's about it.

The floors were sticky and incredibly dirty. The preparation area for a Chinese restaurant was on the other side of one of our walls and all evening, all we could hear was chopping noises and loud music.There were teabags in the 4 corners of our window - unsure as to why they were there. The outside light was on all night with no way to turn it off inside the room that we could find. This made sleeping in the bed next to the window very difficult.When we arrived, there was no one at the office to ask about the cot that was requested for my 6 month old when I booked as it was not in the room as promised. When I called their number, the staff member appeared to have no knowledge of the request and would have to work out where that request was and get back to me. It took over an hour for the cot to show up at the room with no return phone call, and she advised she had no idea how to set it up.This was after observing the staff member physically open key safes for multiple other guests who arrived after I called to enquire about the cot. This may have been while waiting for confirmation of my request, but it definitely made me feel like our request was less important.We resisted the urge to pack up and go elsewhere as it was only one night, just a place to sleep, and would have lost the not so minor amount of money we paid for the room. In hindsight, we would have been more comfortable elsewhere, especially with our 6 month old.To cap it all off, I was awoken at approximately 2am by a large cockroach ON MY FACE! I was mortified enough that it was my own face, but it made it near impossible to sleep afterwards, thinking there could be others potentially crawling on and around my baby in her cot.Any positives I found in the accommodation are definitely overshadowed by what I have listed above. I would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate and have to stay here.Location is not everything, and good photos can be deceiving.
