Aqua Batumi Hotel & Apartments

The location is great if you’re not new to Batumi. There’re no cafes restaurants nearby, but Metro mall is some 15 minutes away on feet.This is a very quiet and cozy place - which is rare for sea view accommodations in Batumi. There is a crosswalk leading to the beach right in front of the hotel.My room did have a great sea view being at the last 14th floor. Everyone from the staff I faced were very nice and helpful. They brought me some bakes and sweets - like true Georgian hosts.Overall this place is a great value for money if you realize it is on the outskirts and is far from all the town’s places of interest.PS. It is very close to the airport and is great for plainspotters.

The water flow in bath was so weak - I can’t imaging my wife washing her hair with it, the fridge did not work - making some 1 degree colder inside than it was in the room. There was no kettle, they brought it immediately after a request, but not the cups to make tea/coffee. The hotel maid brought one the next day.

the location wasn't good at all, at the end of the cost line probably, there was a bad smell too all the time, street sewers or so, no AC in the bedrooms only in the living room, the room was not clean when we checked in

photos of the room, presented here on booking have nothing to do with the reality. We booked one-bedroom apartment, which was supposed to be 45 sq m, but in reality it is twice smaller, and the whole appearance of the room is absolutely different from the photos. After arguing we were given a bit larger room - two-bedroom apartment, but still it is small with very old furniture and broken room doors, impossible to close. there were no forks in the apartment, and nobody brought it to us even after I asked for them. Also no furniture on balcony. So one should be prepared that you will be given an absolutely different room (much worse) from the ones presented here on photos. Just compare the photos attached with the photos of one-bedroom apartment that the hotel provided

I stayed in this hotel always when in Batumi due to parking in front of the hotel. staff is always very helpful. it was cold in our room so we got an electric heater which made it a good night

I absolutely love the view. Stayed in this hotel multiple times, the service is excellent.

I ordered a more pricey room looking for bigger space. Staff attempted to put me into a standard room. When I asked to either get the room I paid for or get a discount to the standard price, I was given other standard room, and then the other kind - the one that matched the photos and had more split up space. The room was really cold and built not well - there were cracks on the wall and really strange positions of electric switches. The bed was comparatively small and uncomfortable.

It’s the very good place away from the noise of the town. It’s very clean and cozy.

The last evening there was no light in the hotel — but it isn’t hotel’s fault.

The breakfast was awful. Used to pay for coffee/tea. Staff in the restaurant wasn’t helpful and friendly.

The staff at the reception can't speak English,we arrived 30 mins before 2pm and room was not ready.At checkout the guy came just at 12:02 and asked us to move out,there is a phone they must call and not knock like this was little rude.

Only the view!

it was the worst staff! they don't want help at all, prices are so high and the room was not clean at all! they gave us dirty towels every day! thanks god there was washing machine so we cleaned it by ourselves! the room itself was not so bad, the view was 10/10! but the smell in evenings was awful!!! And the beach was quieter than in center of Batumi! Sunsets where quite beautiful, but the service was so bad even the phone in the room didn't work. so we didn't even notice good things? Won't recommend at all!!!

the balcony door was broken however they fixed it right away. The towels were dirty. rooms arw not well ventilated and it smells humidity. The shower cabin is very small and narrow. i booked standard double room (saw the photos while selecting) even though we were checked in different one which i never would have booked. The manager wasn’t nice at all. The technician who fixed the balcony door was very polite and friendly.

weak water pressure, water leak in bathroom, smelly reception area, unprofessional staff and worst of all which is a big red flag, dirty towels with hair on them and nasty disgusting comforter/blanket (photo attached)

Disgusting smell from outside.It was woman hair in my bed.

Rooms were spacious & clean. Breakfast options were good but not the service.

We saw the picture of the room with seaview in website, however different category of room was given to us. Breakfast options were good for the paid price, but the staff are not trained at all. No greeting, no welcome, & you can't see smiling face. The tall waitress is rude, I never saw her smiling in 3 days. There was no plate at the buffet, guess what did she say when I asked for it?She doesn't have it, if I would have been a server, I would immediately find one from washing area or store room for the guest, very basic! But the server (short height) was polite.It is far from the city centre, almost no dining place nearby.I would suggest to book the similar category of accommodation options in the city to have easy access to everything.

The bed linen was full of hair. The towels had hair on them. Some people smoked in the room and it smelled bad

The hotel is very close to the beach and planes spotting place, almost every room has a sea view, everything is new and clean. We lived in the apartment, which was well equipped.

We lived on the last 14th floor, and it was quite windy at nights. We could hear terrible noise, produced by roof covers on the ventilation shafts, sometimes it was impossible to fall asleep because of it.The closest restaurants and shops are in Metro mall, which is 15 mins walk away. It was actually an advantage for us, but I can imagine somebody could be disappointed by it.
