Breakfast was provided no charge downstairs. Just basic but good. Hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The MANTRA requires some maintenance over and above maintaining there is a difference. Yes, the weather was atrocious with all the smoke and lack of visibility, unfortunately the Trots were called off Friday evening of the 9th of January, but the bonus was the Bendigo meeting transferred to Melton on Saturday the 10th, not that this was the reason for staying, visiting family. The Mantra sign attached to the wall outside the entry needs to be bolted to the wall better than what it is, so as it does not bang all night long when windy.

The pillows need to be changed all together; they are so thin even trying to sleep on 2 of them is insufficient. The cards used for the entry to room need to checked and updated, as each time we tried to enter we had a problem. In the room one of the chairs was obviously broken, all good and well cleaning the room but once again maintenance is lacking.

I was expecting it to be better for the money I paid. No bedside tables, breakfast was average, coffee wasn’t nice at all

The overall comfort and quietness in the room. Also, we loved the horse names on the doors.

There were not enough tea bags... English Breakfast. I realise I could've called room service for more.No other complaint.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite large and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.
