You have to go to another hotel down the road to get the key. Even though I followed the signs on how to obtain it there, a staff member made it more confusing by asking what pin I used, only to then say that wasn’t the process and she had my key.

Easy to plan check in having arrived on the 1am ferry from the South Island. Spacious, clean and quiet.

My stay was unacceptable due...

The property was not habitable. The room had a flea infestation, multiple broken fixtures including taps and handles in the bathroom and kitchen, and damaged furniture. The overall condition was unsafe and unacceptable for accommodation.

The bed was very comfortable and it had nice new carpet

From the outside it looked terrible, very untidy and old, no on-site reception,

Cost effective - one of the cheaper motels around, and while you get what you pay for, it is more than adequate for the price

WiFi in my room was too weak to connect to, and the room I was in did not have SKY TV, but it was warm and clean.

Location, comfort, had the necessities that i needed

Would have been nice to have body wash instead of block soap.

A bit too tired. Especially the interior needs a makeover. Old carpet was smelly.

there was no breakfast that i knew of. i would not have ordered it anyway i had been out for dinner the night before and was still full. so not an issueThe door was hard to open and close the sliders were grating. i recommend getting the runners looked at. (room 4 settlers)there was nothing for the visitor to use to clean up spills. i recommend either a dish cloth or paper towels be available. i was ready to leave at 8.30 but the reception wasn't staffed till 9am. i did not see somewhere i could return the key that was safe. i recommend a return box for keys for early leavers. if there is one im sorry i missed it. None of these things were huge issues.

Close location to town centre within walking distance.

Was this an emergency housing facility? Had to change room on arrival. Room smelt of cannibas, toilet was noisy, door was hard to slide open, benches were old and scratched.

Super easy location to find and get too nice and close to enter and exit onto the motorway very close to supermarket and Kmart!

Arrived and found dirty dishes, that I had to re wash to be able to use. We were out of power for 12hrs due to a car crashed into a pole. Which made the stay quite unpleasant and there was next to no communication on what time the power would roughly be back on. Unfortunately we had food in the fridge that went warm although the fridge wasn’t opened until power went back on around 1am. Beds were very very soft and moved quite a bit when rolling over. The duvet had a few stains on it which was fine as we had our own pillows and blankets. Location quite loud due to door having a gap, otherwise fine. Would have love to have a little portable stove top so we had something to cook on rather than having to buy takeaways or snack foods

Could write on the dust on windowsill, windows dirty, bottles and paper under master bed, overcharged a deposit twice, once through booking .Com and then when we got there.No reception have to walk 3 motels down road to get key.

the check in process was soo bad, trying to find where to check in and finding it hard to get a hold of the owners. shower had molds on the doors.

It was an easy location to get to the early morning ferry departure. The beds were comfortable. Room was a great size.

The room was dirty (walls and skirting) and furnishings in very poor condition. Didn't see anyone on check in, couldnt get ahold of anyone for check out. Lots of damaged fixtures, broken window and the photos are very misleading.

It’s very run down looks like it may have been sold either to be demolished or done up had we known thus we would not have stayed there

Only thing is I asked for more pillows and some were dropped off.

It smelt like it hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time we were there at week and put right by the road when there was rooms right down the back free. We cleaned the benches and the cloth was brown, the springs in the beds weren’t very good at all. All our food was frozen in the fridge as you couldn’t turn it down so had to bin over $100 of food.

Wasnt happy, after a long trip, no one in reception and had to walkdown to two other motels to get to the person for the keys, was not impressed

Dirty, & mould, no tea towel, not dish cloth, no face cloth, just a trickle of cold water came out of kitchen sink & hand basin

There were some foul smell not sure if it was from washroom. Water was very hot for shower. Shower was too small.

1. The nightly fee was paid for via booking.com. However, when we were checking in, we had to pay a 2nd time as proof that the payment on our credit card/banking app wasn't sufficient. (Waiting on communication from booking.com or settlers)2. We knew the rooms were run down, but the location suits us. 3. Our room was filthy. Noodles on the bench, food splashed on the wall and over the oven Hobbs and door, tea and coffee packets were dusty, cups had marks on them, shower dome had mold, curtains looked like they had paint and dried mucus on them.We asked for a room clean but heard nothing back.
