ASURE Green Gables Motel

Everything! We've stayed all over the country and this is hands down the BEST Motor Lodge/Motel we have ever stayed at. We loved it so much we extended our stay, four times!

Nothing, except there was nothing to measure anything in when cooking in the kitchen, like a jug with lines on. And we made do without that.

Very affordable and comfortable

The neighbours in the room next to is were unfortunately quite loud and kept parking in our allocated cap park

Location is good near restaurants and supermarket. Place is clean with all appliances.

Bed a bit low to get out of and stand up. A bit of a push required for us older people.

Some road noise is noticeable in the rooms near the entrance.

Disappointing

Price for a very small room. Cleaner was seen with an opened bottle of rum in her bag while on duty. She appeared drunk.

We had stayed there before but these were new people running it. The place seemed clean

Curtain had pulled away from the rail near the single bed which should have been repaired before we arrived. The little coffee table had a damaged leg. I know these are little things but I felt they should have been sorted. There was also no milk supplied

I found this motel very clean and comfortable. Although it is on a main road it was very quiet.

Convenient location and nice staff.

Fridge was not on when I arrived so not cold and ice had melted through it, and one of the cooktop controls is broken so the only way to turn it off is at the wall (which is why it was also turned off).

Good location, handy to supermarket

The parking spaces don’t match up to the units, your neighbor is at your door

- Other guests smoking and vaping outside the rooms or outside your door.- Bed too soft for me.- Tight parking space.

Location was great for what we needed, I loved that it was all ground level for my mum, We had a pull out sofa bed and they even offered to make it for us, which was lovely to come to after a day out visiting family, everything was nice and clean

Fantastic location. Close to shops and main roads. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with all you would need to make a meal. Having an oven was a plus and all the utensils provided. Very clean and spacious making it comfortable.

We were booked into a studio unit next to the busy road, but were able to change to a one bedroom unit at the rear of the site, which was much better. The motel is next to a school and our unit (once we moved) was quiet and well positioned for Lower Hutt. Staff were accommodating and pleasant.

It was more expensive than other motels and BnBs we stayed at on our trip. It was extra to move to the one bedroom unit.

Loved everything about the place room was clean bed was comfy and staff amazing Will definitely stay here again

Always a warm welcome have stayed several times. Handy location & comfortable getting a little bit tired.

It was fine for our stay but the toilet seat was unstable & I mentioned it to the owner when I checked out.

Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for reasonable price. The electric blankets were nice on a cold night.

The single bed in the lounge was a bit uncomfortable
