Breakfast was exceptional. A myriad of healthy and tasty food and drink items. Location is literally across the street from the main train station.

View from our room was mostly of the back side of an adjacent hotel and a small street. Expected more from such a quality hotel.

The location is one of the best in downtown Toyama. There is a 24/7 convenience store downstairs. The optional breakfast costs 2200 JPY but it’s worth it. The bathroom is rather spacious compared to other same-level Japanese hotels.

The check in experience was absolutely terrible. For contexts, in Japan, the room rate depends on persons of occupation, which I am fully aware of. I booked a room for double occupancy; however, the front desk insisted that their system indicated I booked for single occupancy. I showed them my order confirmation on Booking.com, but they refused to honor that. I ended up wasting a half hour arguing with them and then paying them 9600 JPY for the additional guest (plus breakfast) for three nights. The next day, they proactively called our room and admitted that they were mistaken and would refund that 9600 JPY. As much as I appreciate their honesty, I think this experience just proves that how miserable it can be when you book on Booking.com.Additionally, the front desk told me that there is only one kind of room type, despite that I booked a “larger” room on Booking.com.The bottom line is, at your own risk you are thinking to book for a double occupancy room in Japan via Booking.com. Think. Twice.

Great location to the JR station, clean and professional staff

Elevated business hotel with a good bathroom and shower. Many restaurants around the area!

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, secured, lots of amenities and eateries around, near train and bus stations, shopping malls and convenient shops. Bath room is spacious with bathtub.

Room space a bit tight between bed and tv table.

This hotel offers convenient on-site parking in a multi-level building next door (JPY 700/day). While the room itself was basic, it provided solid value for the price.

There’s a lot that this property has going for it. Great location, great staff, and it’s very clean. The rooms are a bit dated but it’s still comfortable. The only real downside is the WiFi. It’s a business hotel so I would expect at least a stable connection with decent speed but the WiFi at this property is very bad. On top of the room rate I had to buy more data on my phone plan since I used it as a hotspot to get my work done. It’s 2025, and hotels should not have WiFi with under 2mbps download.

As almost any Japanese hotel, cleanliness is benchmark. Smooth check in, comfy bed, ok breakfast. For a one night stay and the friendly budget really a recommendation. Location super close to train station.

Very small rooms. But this was expected. Check-out a bit bumpy since no invoice could be issued “Because I booked with booking.com”.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, also very quiet. We had a room with a fantastic view of the mountains. Very close location to the train station. Shower was really good!

It would have been nice to have a few tea or coffee bags for when we first arrived in the room.

Room was spacious compared to most of hotel in Japan, convenient location. Tram loop line stop in front of the hotel.
