Hotel Grand Terrace Toyama

The hotel has a grand foyer. The rooms are a little dated but that added to the charm.The breakfast buffet was fantastic, bonus points for having take out cups to take a coffee with you after breakfast.

Very friendly. The guest elevator was undergoing renovations, so the desk clerk very apologetically showed me all the way to my room using the staff elevator. Everything went smoothly.

The free coffee in the lobby doesn’t start until 9 am

Very clean place with soft beds. The location is also very good. If you value privacy, you can choose not to have your room cleaned. The staff will leave you with clean accessories (towels, sheets, etc.) at the door.

A lot of the guests look important or professional, so if you aren't dressed for it, it can be daunting just to walk around

Location was within walking distance to the station. Lobby was big and there was a massage chair in the lounge for relaxation

Both elevators for visitors were broken so guests had to use the service elevator. It would also be more convenient to have multiple room keys if multiple people were staying in the same room

It is a really nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. It is less than a 10 minute walk from Toyama station. Especially for the price, it is a great value!

It is an old hotel but slightly bigger than hotel room in Tokyo. The stuff are helpful and informative.

Free drinks at the lobby between 9am to 11pm.

Super thin wall. You can hear everything that your guest next door is doing. Mine was yelling almost 2 hours until midnight. I had to knock on the wall to let them know we can hear them.

It was a really cheap price when I booked via booking.com.They provide free soft drinks, coffee, sake and wines in the lobby?

The bed is quite small and not too comfortable.

Perfect location with only a 10 minute walk from the station. Very fancy type hotel with huge lobby, free coffee and welcome drink of sake, white wine or red wine or a bit of each. Luggage minding. 2 restaurants on site. Clean and very fancy atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The air conditioner didn’t work and the rooms were very stuffy.

The hotel although old was quite pleasant. Some may consider dated to be a problem, but for myself I quite enjoyed the older feel of the hotel and could imagine it would be nostalgic for older revisiting patrons. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant to westerners.The hotel was conveniently situated near top tier restaurants and the train station.

Although described a non smoking room. There was a noticeable smell that this room may have originally been a smoking room. Considering how cheap the stay was, I deemed this issue negligible, although if paying a higher price. I would have found this to be an issue.

Large twin room with large and very comfortable beds. Lots of bathroom extras. Welcome drinks. Short walk from the station.

Very pleasant stay. The station, mini markets are near. The castle and walking area are nearby.

No welcome bottle of water, it says you can drink from the tap :D

The hotel provide free tram coupon when we asked about the transportation which is more than expected. The hotel has massage chair free of charge is great. Provide simple drinks as welcome drink is a plus

The drinks in the foyer was a lovely reception. Lovely grand entrance way. Friendly staff.

Very good value for money.Staff was very helpful and allowed a slightly early check in which saved us because it was pouring at that time.

The room is a bit smal but couldn't complain at this price.
