Hotel Livemax Toyama

Location is good. Minimalist hotel but provide most needed facility, there is even a coin laundry and dryer.

Great with everything, except that part that I accidentally book a smoking room and it was impossible to rebook a new one for non-smoking. It was probably my false on this issue.

It was close enough to the station

The room was a bit too small for two people.It was difficult to use two medium sized luggages.The bed was also kind of small, but we did fit just fine.Would expect a bit more for what we paid.

Dirty. I can see some dust on the microwave and cupboard. Also the carpet at the entrance of the hotel is dirty. There was a box of unattended thing left at the lobby near the TV screen.

they don't allow us to leave our bags at the information counter resulting us to pay fine of 200 yen since we leave our bags at the room hoping to come back before check-out time but failed.

Relatively new, and just under 10 min of walking from train station.

There is no onsen bath facilities, unlike other hotels I stayed in this trip.

The location is walkable from the Toyama station and Toyama castle park. However, it is not too busy place. There is very close Lawson convenient store, which you can buy everything.

There is no provided shower cap in the hotel.

It is within walking distance to the station. Convenient for us who need to move between places. There is also a convenience store nearby and having a fridge and a microwave in the room comes very handy since we could stock up some foods at once and have it reheated the next morning without the need to go out every time.

The location is very close to Toyama station - and there are some amenities nearby.It is also within walking distances to a nearby Castle Park and City Hall.

The room has a bit of unpleasant room - even though it’s still manageable. After we turned on the air dehumidifier it’s better.One thing to note is that they provide us with 2 bed even though there are 3 of us.

We booked for 4 adults and 1 child, but just got two rooms with two beds each. I suppose the expectation was that the child would share with an adult, which is what we did. The beds were large, so this wasn't much of an issue.

Very helpful staff. Assisted in communicating with our next hotel.Location walking distance to JR station and Dentetsu Toyama station. Just round the corner to the Observatory Tower.Safe surroundings for walking to the station in the early morning around 5am

Your average business hotel.

For 4 people it was very small. Bed was very cramped. In other aspects - typical business hotel.

Air in the room was very dry

Twin room is huge. Bed was very comfort.

Strange stink in bathroom. On top of desk and microwave was too much dust. Staffs not Japanese. So difficult to understand when staffs spoke Japanese. Impolite spoke.

Close to the Toyama station, with spacious and clean rooms. Each room had a microwave and kettle, unfortunately no tea bags. Each bed had USB charging points which was a plus.

A smile on front office staff would be good. Also having someone at front office with very basic english conversational skill would ease the check in process.
