The location was nice and the staff were helpful. Walking distance from the main attractions and good shops around.

It’s outdated, rooms need renovation, no tea/coffee/teapot in the room. Everything was rather shabby and tatty. The bed wasn’t comfortable.

Disappointed by services

Ac was not working, complained to change room but no response. There was no any water bottle provided. Lobby was without AC as well. Lights of room were very dim. Overall very disappointing

The check in was very easy and straightforward. I was shown to my room and asked if I needed anything. I had a problem with the room key late at night and the staff could not have been more helpful. They tried to open the door with the key and then said it would need repaired. This would be done the next day and they put me in the room next door for the night. The lock was repaired next day. The breakfast is amazing and is buffet style so you can have as much or as little as you want. The first morning I was told by one of the staff to treat this like home. I have every plan to return to Samarkand and to stay once more and will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

The only thing I didn't like was the 2 days of rain other than that there was nothing wrong with the hotel.

The Hotel is well located and in principle comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfast was very varied , good n filling. They also offered us a very decent packed breakfast as we had to catch an early morning train to Bukhara.It is just about 2 kms from Gur-e- Amir , the city center and it is a delight to walk there as one sees the university area, open public spaces, Timur statue etc before one reaches Gur - e - Amir .

The place is undergoing renovation and the room we stayed in the first night was dusty( we sneezed the entire night), the phone , fridge, TV were not functioning. there was no kettle or tea bags . The drain overflowed with dirty water the next morning while we were starting to get ready for the day and thus they had no option but to transfer us to a better room. But no compensation was offered for the previous nights fiascothe second night stay was very comfortable and relaxed in comparisonThey also did not offer a free early checkin at 10.30 am . It was at a cost .

not satisfied , very disappointed

1.The bed made noise with every movement, which disrupted sleep.2.The room lacked a television, which is a basic amenity.3.Dogs barking throughout the night made it difficult to rest.4.Breakfast was not served on time, causing inconvenience.5.There was no provision for drinking water, no kettle for hot water, and no tea or other beverages in the room.

The staff did their best to be helpful and were friendly in all of our interactions, although there was not much handover between staff members at the ends of their shift. They did go above and beyond to help us arrange a day trip to Shakhrisabz, which we very much appreciated.

We booked two rooms, looking for something simple and not fancy, and this hotel seemed to fit the bill; however, there were significant problems in both. Room 1: Cleanliness was an issue overall. The carpet showed obvious signs of not being cleaned, and there was an infestation of ants in the room. Ants swarmed all over our bags, even though no food. Staff was not surprised by this. After night 1, the staff asked us to leave our keys to clean, but they did not clean. After night 2, staff did make up the room but did not clean the floor. When making up the room, they removed and did not replace bath towels or toilet paper. The sheets were also too small for the beds. The shower was a lottery: every time was a different experience, sometimes with barely a trickle and minimal hot water, other times the opposite -- a different experience every time. Room 2: No shower curtain. The air conditioning and other items were broken. Closet but no hangers, etc. The staff was kind enough to change to a different room after the first night. No coffee at breakfast if that is important to you. Overall, the hotel is worn down, which for us is actually not a problem at all, but it seems overall as if there is no consistency or process or knowing "what good looks like". We met the owner's son, who was sleeping in the lobby, and he said to us unprompted that the hotel looks and feels old but that they're "doing it on purpose because that's what people want".

The friendly welcome by all staff throughout our stay. The room size was luxurious and the location was fabulous.

The hotel is very good location. Every thing is very comfortable.The hotel staff is very helpful I never forget there manners and behaviour. Ther hospitality is outstanding. Good luck mixt Royal palace. Samarkand. Good bye Uzbekistan.

The stuff is so freandly and helpful. Breakfast is good. The location is good. Hotel texi driver is so expert, and his good behavior is wonderful.

It's pretty far from the old town and the Registan. I paid much more than their normal rate and they didn't allow me to take another person in the room except if I pay the double of what I had paid (while on booking for 1 or 2 persons the price was the same).

-Very friendly staff. I left my IPad at the hotel and they ensured that a friend could pick it up for me.-Rooms were spacious and well prepared -Excellent location and amazing breakfast

Message go the owner of the place. - size of the room - size of the bathroom - quite room, although faced the main street I did not hear anything - team is very professional but lack of training or facility knowledge. I will mark you a 9 as place is lovely, but please look into improvement, you have so much potential.

Big potential to become a 4* hotel, if..- booked triple room, level 3 genius upgrade ( 1 double bed, 1 single bed) . I was shown two rooms, one room that I booked amd 1 with 3 single beds. I choose double bed and I was asked to pay extra. After going back and forth receptionists said ok I will give it to you. You not giving it to me, I booked it and I had a confirmation.- breakfast, its included so cannot complaint but there is so much more potential. Eggs up on request would be nice, you have a chef in the kitchen, who gets paid of his time, why not utilise him and make customers more impressed ?- the breakfast hostes could ask for tea of coffee and make a pot. She is again there to do what, just to check the room number? Hotel is not that big.- you need a little notes under the food to mark it what is what, especially with hot food.- there was some kids staying in the hotel, owners extended family or something, taking food by cards from the buffet did not look appetising.- bed on the very hard side- flat sheet instead of duvet then us hot would be nice- maintenance reaction would be nice, shower door broken and mentioned on the first night, did not fixed in 4 days.- one soap for bathroom, had to take it from the shower to the sink- room was serviced after the first night (?) But not remaining 3, I had to ask for toilet paper. And you are bot allowed to drop toilet paper inside the toilet, but 3 days with open bin is not very nice.- bathroap was not nice and fresh, needs a replace- power cut for half days in the last two days. No power not Internet and I wasn't able to do my work.- you need to fix booking.com facilities, as you have water, chocolates, fruits, washing machine, bike rental, mini marker on site, dryer and so on promised to the guest, but not delivered.- yandex ( similar to uber or bolt) around one euro away from the city center, and 3 euro to the airport.

Great location and beautiful building with lovely decorations and architecture. Room was very quiet as in a back yard and that was a very welcome rest from the endless Samarkand traffic noise. Staff who checked us in was very polite and kind.

Other staff members were a bit impatient and kept asking for payment with ringing our door in the evening although we only stayed one night. Check out quite slow. Breakfast not convincing, room for improvement. Shower curtain very old and not pleasant, also broken…

Great place. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast and location were very good. Good restaurants and famous sights within a short walk. The room had good air conditioning and a refrigerator.

Sometimes water pressure was a bit weak.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel, although getting old, is comfortable and well located at a walking distance to many tourist attractions. my room was large, bright, quiet, very clean, and everything worked well. Breakfast is included.

Lovely place, we got huge room with balcony, bathroom was very tidy. The most helpful staff, the man from reception help us with booking taxi and all other things.

Very good service and the receptionists are helpful.
