Ibis Gaziantep

I Stayed three nights recently in the month of April 2022. Excellent customer services,the location is very convenient for shopping and restaurants round the corner.

The room was a standard ibis-like room. The washroom was tiny but exceptionally clean. The room was also quite clean. We stayed for 2 nights. It's quite centrally located, and you can get the main transportation right in front of the hotel - tram, bus, taxi etc. We used Havas bus to get to the hotel from Gaziantep Airport, which dropped us right in front of the hotel. The historical city sites are on a walking distance, to the southeast of the hotel. Gaziantep Forum is literally adjacent to the hotel, which offers plenty of shopping options for local and international brands and they have a food court as well. We checked in at least 3 hours early, thanks to the reception guy named Ertuğrul. Value for Money: 6/10Comfort: 7/10Service: 7/10Location: 9/10Staff: 10/10

The room window - that's just too small. The ventilation is quite bad. We literally couldn't breathe the next day as it was so stuffy inside due to poor ventilation and the washroom being just within the room - meaning it opened right to the face of the bed. The window could only open for 10-cm. Poor ventilation. I also asked the hotel at reception for this issue, to which they said this is a centralized system and we can't do much about this. I thought breakfast could've been included in the price tag.

Rooms & bathrooms were very small

There is a nice breakfast buffet with a wide selection. The food was good quality, choices are more than adequate with a variety of bread selections. Many traditional Turkish breakfast options, spices and vegetables. Convenient free garage if you are driving.

Rooms are compact and windows do not open fully. Room was warm and AC was not working due to the season, so it took time to cool it down. Location was somewhat isolated from main district but options are available within walking distance.

Location site us and the hotel was fine for us - more of a motel than smart hotel, but for the price it was great! Breakfast was good and not expensive. Nice to have a bar for a reviving beer after a long day out

Bedroom door was really heavy. My wife struggled to open it. Limited clothes storage facilities. Bar was limited in choice. Adequate but lacking in some areas such as wine by the glass

The receptionist was rude ( bold tall guy)

The shower pressure & hot water. The mini-fridge in the room. Cleanliness. Easy to come & go. Quick check-in, & ever quicker check-out. 2 Complimentary bottles of water every day. Lots of towels in the room. Controlled a/c which was perfect.

The menu food was dry & average.

Clean room, fast check in, comfortable beds. Quiet.

It has all the drawbacks of all Ibis hotels. But this is why somebody pays a lesser price for it. Don’t expect luxuries or spacious rooms.

Reception area , one of the lifts not working , even though no cigarette room , smell of cigarette especially in the toilet

I was on a work trip and stayed there for a full week (7 nights, 8 days) overall the hotel has everything you expect from an Ibis. The location is perfect, walking distance to all major attractions in Gaziantep downtown

This is my second time and the check-in processes takes much too long, especially if someone in the queue is facing a problem. There was a problem is heating, and for 3 days rooms were overheated. On days 5 and 6 the hot water was barely hot (but still fine for a shower, not a bog deal). They say hang the towels if you dont want us to change them, but they were invariably changed every day even if hanged. The cleaning supervisor needs to make more rounds as the cleaning was really basic everyday

Clean room with comfortable bed (more on the firm side which I like very much for my sore back);Coffee, tea bags, and fruit plate in the room was a nice touch;

Only one staff at reception to deal with the check-in, when large group of tourists arrive it is a very long wait for the other travelers;Glad I did not pay extra to get the breakfast, did not look appetizing at all;

Comfy bed, very fast check in and check out, everything was fine
