    Pros +

    • The place is close to the beach.
    • For nature lovers ! Bungalows right on the beach. You can hear vawes ar night. All teritory is in shadow of palms and other trees. Very quiet place for relaxing holidays. Good breakfast and dinner.
    • The nature around the view straight to the ocean the palm trees around and the natural landscape Filled with little wonders of this world

    Cons -

    • The sheets were not clean, sand on the bed.My room toilet not flushing.
    • Sometimes low water pressure. Not possible to swim at low tide, but this not hotel's fault.
    • There was a power outage that lasted until around 2–3 in the morning, making it difficult to sleep as the fans were not working. However, I believe this was an isolated incident and not a recurring issue.

    Passable

there wasnt a generator to deal with power outtages so spent 2 days without charging phone. no really acceptable in the modern world not to have backup power.

Great place, good staff with beautiful and private view of the sea. No loud music at night, etc. You can reach Paje or Bwejuu by foot if you want to go to restaurants, etc.

    Nothing...all was great.

Very nice location. Quiet part of that stretch of beach. Staff very lovely. Rooms cleaned everyday. Very safe area. Owner very accommodating. No complaints.Just be aware some Bungalows on beach front and with view. Others are behind. So be sure what you are choosing.

That area have chronic blackouts good, news the water still runs but at reduce pressure.

I have stayed at this property 3 times since 2005! The owner is an incredible woman and her staff is so nice and accommodating. The food is excellent.

I didn’t realize there would be no electricity from 2 am-7 am every night. Because the beach is hot & humid it’s a bit uncomfortable without even a fan during the night. This isn’t necessarily the bungalows fault, sounds like the government shuts it down.

Beach side bungalow - 0 min to the beach. Friendly staff and clean facility. Nice Japanese food.

I had breakout for a few hours when we had heavy rain. However, I believe it barely happens.

The location was just by the beach so was looking out over the water from my bungalow. As I am walking badly right now the owner gave me a bungalow near to the restaurant wich was very handy. The staff was really helpful and nice. The breakfast was very filling and good. A truly nice time to relax.

Paje is situated in an area of high tidal activity. Therefore when the tide is out you would have to go for quite a bit to reach the water. So, unfortunately for me, this time I did not swim much. The place could benefit from a swimmingpool but there was'nt one. The bathroom was quite rustic....

This is the perfect place for a quiet spot. Cleaning room every day. Wifi ONLY in the restaurant. Staff very friendly, discrete, so you can enjoy your vacation. If in mood for bars/ party, 5 -10 min walking on the beach on each direction you have from where to choose. Keep in mind that this is actually a cottage. So, the inside is proper cottage, basic needs in the same vibe as the island. Nothing fancy. In front of the cottage you have the sun beds/ chairs to relax and just watch the ocean disappearing / coming back. No AC (even I was in full season first part of February, I did not use the fan ( there was a fan inside).

Some features could be upgraded ( towels, maybe some things in the bathroom like a proper mirror, and the lighting inside was quite poor - only one bulb that was not enough for the room). WIFI it would be nice to have it also besides the restaurant area. Is ok to disconnect (vacation mood), but to move every time from the sunbed to main area to check messages, or late evening going out from cottage just to have a conversation it was sometimes not really my cup of tea.

Serene location, glorious beach and Saori is lovely. Staff are very engaging and willing. One of our party drank loads of coffee and they kept the coffee flowing. Cold beers/water and sodas always available in that humidity, which is great.

Super !! 3 times there ; bungalows Saori, Lulu and Yoko. Quiet resort, large park. On the beach ! Can walk on the beach easily. Nice views during low tide. Safe, clean (everyday cleaning room) Good restaurant !! With reasonnable prices. Big thanks to Abdul for his friendly service. And of course to Saori japanese owner since 32 years! Friendly and she can help you for everything. I will come back !

Everything good, should be better when Saori will invest for more routers to get wi-fi in the bungalows !

They have dogs on site, friendly and cute. The Ocean is there and the staff is helpful. really nice people. Good that we were charged only for one night (was all paid).

Rooms are not maintained, bathrooms are ugly, towels are older than I ever saw in a hotel, internet works only in the restaurant area. Use of plastic. On top, sexual offers are just at your door.

    8SakariPosted on: 7-17-2023

My bungalow was literally at the beach. Couldn't have wished for better location.

Wifi is only available in the restaurant. Occasionally in my bungalow too as it was right next to it.

The setting of the Hotel was truly beautiful, Paradise well discribes it. It was quiet.Owner was hospitable and took the criticism very positively.

The huts need total renovation . Broken ceiling fan, Inadequate toilet and encounter with coakroach.Breakfast pathetic and very basic, no flexibility on the choice. We had to cut our stay short as better hotels are available at comparable price

Paradise Beach Bungalows was our favourite hotel whilst we visited Zanzibar (we stayed in 3 other areas/hotels). I highly recommend getting a beach front bungalow as the view and private sunbed area is outstanding! The rooms could be a little lighter, and are probably in time for some redoing as it's a little rusty however, for the price and the view and location we really can't complain! The location is a 10 minute walk along the beach to all the restaurants and liveliness. We liked that we weren't in the centre of it all! When there is high tide at night you can easily call a taxi from a restaurant and have them take you home. The sea is magnificent. If you walk left you get to experience wild beaches with hardly anyone there! If you walk right you get to see all the wind and kite surfers! It's really wonderful. The staff were very kind especially to Ali and the Japanese owner and all the other staff that assisted (I didn't catch your names but thank you!).P.s. their passion fruit jam is amazing!!!

The rooms were dark and without aircon (a fan was provided however). The rooms were also dated and the light was not really strong, Also, a little humid and damp however, with a little TLC and improved bungalows, I believe Paradise Beach Bungalows has the potential of being 5 stars. It is truly a spectacular setting.

Very good location, close to central part of Paje, but not very crowded. Very safe place, good food and friendly staff. For those who likes party, each Tuesday, there is a pool party in the neighboring hotel, which I personally recommend.

Rooms in decent standard, a bit problem with water device (shower was not working properly). But in such a nice place you do not pay attention to this small things at all.
