Novotel Nara

Bed is comfy. Lotion Shampoo & conditioner provided really do good. Onsen pretty good but still lacking more hot temperature of the water & not to forget that they didnt have hair brush in the changing room. Hair dryer sqeaking sound was hurting my ears.

We do not have hair brush, cottons & earbuds which i thought hotels will provide. For such star ranking, i didnt know we have to bring it ourselves.

Novotel Nara is an excellent hotel. They gave me a great room on the 7th floor with a huge bed and nice bathroom and other facilities. The hotel is located near the conference center where I went every day so this was a bonus. The breakfast was a nice mix of Japanese and western delicacies. However, I only tried it once so I can't say much more.

It would be nice if the room had a desk to work. However, I could use the table provided. I stayed in this hotel given its proximity to the conference center. For the city center, it is a bit of a walk. But a nice one.

Loved our room. It was very spacious the bed was comfy... loved the heated toilet too. The Lounge area by the rooftop was very nice too.

Breakfast options could have been better. There wasn't much to choose from.

Everything, hotel staff, cleanness, comfortable, hot spring bath, parking, gym, toilet. Have been in several 5* hotels, and I have to say this hotel is on my top list. Would love to stay longer. Good price too!Booked based on pictures: not disappointed.

We loved everything about this hotel! It was like a 5-star hotel. The facilities - spa, gym, open sitting areas - are wonderful. I used the laundry facility and it was clean and well priced. The breakfast buffet was delicious and even included champagne! The rooms are elegant and have everything needed for your stay and the mattresses/pillows are very comfortable. There is a mall at walking distance and buses run from a block away from the hotel to many places including the bus station.

Comfortable good facility, lot of extras such hot tub, exercise room etc

The hotel is new.Breakfast is delicious.

a bit far from sightseeing spots

Comfortable bedCleanness Great public bathroom Friendly staff

Not so close from Nara city center, but there’s a train stop at 10 minutes walking

The room was great, modern, clean. Bed comfortable. Amenities and pyjama provided. Beautiful lobby. Staff very helpful. Would highly recommend

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Nice restaurants around. Great room, very very modern

Very beautiful space and open. Feels inviting when you come in.

Nothing I didn’t like persé. I did ask staff to help me navigate a booking with train but they said they couldn’t do it which was unfortunate. I really just wanted someone to look with me.

Highly recommended, seems to be super new property. I love the Sofa in the room !! They provide an expresso machine in the room with coffee capsules.

Perfect!

It’s a 30 min walk to Nara but worth it for one night’s stay. Great Onsen, breakfast, massage chair, rooms etc!

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. We enjoy our stay there. They offer a breakfast as well for an additional price and it definitely worth it

The towel was dirty and with some hair on it..it was disgusting. however, staff changed it in a moment

Modern and newly designed, the space features a beautiful interior with cozy spots to relax, including sofas and chairs positioned in front of the bath. The gym was a nice bonus—though compact and equipped with lighter weights (up to 16kg), it was still a welcome addition.

The staff was friendly, though not particularly helpful. The location is slightly outside the city center, but they do offer a complimentary shuttle bus on select days, running once every hour. However, the bus is quite small and doesn't accommodate many passengers, so it's a good idea to queue at least 30 minutes early if you want to secure a spot.

A good location if you plan to do the local Parkrun but quite a distance from Nara park. Has an onsen but we didn’t use. Shuttle bus to stations which was very handy. Good breakfast.

Was perfectly nice but felt quite American and lacked that touch of Japan we had expected.

The breakfast had a good selection.

The breakfast was good but no decaf available at breakfast though i could get pod decaf in my room nespresso machine. I couldnt order decaf at the bar either.

Breakfast was lovely. Access to the Executive Lounge was really enjoyable. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much

The room was superbly clean and well equipped. Great view of sakura from the room and had a parking on site. The staff are super attentive.

Super friendly staff, good size bedroom and delicious breakfast.
