I do not wish to leave a detailed comment. A few words: the staff are very pleasant, the place is clean and the location is really convenient.

I liked the deer in the front and the room was nice. I liked I could grab amenities if I wanted them. I liked that I could just say I didn't need cleaning done.

The bed was very firm and the pillows are not comfortable.

Location is excellent! right next to a major train station. Great shopping, right at the station, and a nice neighborhood. Parking was convenient, and at 800 yens for the night, quite reasonable.Every place was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel shows its age a little, but , that is fine. Rooms are small, by European and American standards, but, that is Japanese standard and was perfectly fine; as long as you know what it will be.

The hotel is incredibly handy for the Nara JR station and several nearby restaurants. The hotel is only a 20-minute walk from the heart of Nara's cultural and tourist areas. Very courteous staff and comfortable amenities.

The rooms are on the small side by Western standards, but no smaller than a normal Japanese hotel. The bed and pillows also take some getting used to if one is more familiar with Western amenities.

​The staff at check-in almost charged me double the booked room rate due to a misunderstanding, but luckily I questioned it first.

Great location right at the station, friendly stuff. I arrived 2 hours before the check in and they let me check in earlier.

The rooms are tiny.

The hotel is very conveniently located near Nara Station. The room is on the smaller side (as is the case with many budget hotels in Japan), but has the necessary amenities. (What the room doesn't have, e.g. slippers, you can take downstairs.) The staff at the reception were helpful and friendly. I'd forgotten to bring a plug adapter for my devices with me and was relieved that it was possible to borrow one from the reception. They also let me leave my bags for the day after checking out.

Nothing major. There is a sign on the bathroom door that the bathroom fan should be kept on at all times, which was a bit of a problem because it is rather noisy and distracting when you try to sleep.

Great location and simple place to sleep while visiting Nara. Rooms are sufficient and clean.

extremely small rooms. I mean, I've slept in a couple of questionable tenements in my life, but this one took it to the extreme. when you open your suitcase, you cannot open the door. from the entrance, suitcase and bathroom you can practically use only one at a given moment.then, the bed. oh, goes to a level of ascetism - extremely hard mattress and pillows to match.bonus: no wardrobe, no shelves to put your stuff away. true minimalism.

The location was convenient and was within easy walking distance to a major train station and convenience stores. Most attractions within Nara were within walking distance, bus ride, train, taxi, or Uber. The water temperature and pressure were good. The staff was able to hold our luggage until check-in time so we could go explore Nara. They also provided a service for us to ship a box of extra luggage to our next hotel. They had a flyer in the lobby about Nara Guide Club, which provided a local guide at no charge. The guide was able to help us get off the beaten path and visit temples and shrines that most tourist don't know about.

The rooms are extremely small. The bed was the worst I have ever slept on! It was rock hard and you could feel the springs. I was extremely sore in the morning, so I needed to go buy an air mattress to put on top of the bed to make it usable for the remaining nights. The facility was older and not updated. There were marks on the carpet and major marks on the bathroom sink. They could only give us one key per room and we needed the key to keep the lights and air conditioning on so if one person left, the other was left in the room without power.

The staff was very polite and efficient. The bed sheets looked thoroughly clean. Convenient location close to the station.

The bathroom smelled a bit like mould, as if it was old, and would smell anyway even if thoroughly clean (it looked clean, but had several signs of being old and mould on the grout and around the bathtub).The walls are very thin and if you have guests on the rooms next of above you, you’ll easily hear them, even if they are not being noisy. You can hear them turning on the bed, going to the bathroom, speaking on the corridors, etc.

I stayed 6 days and really liked the hotel. The staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast was super delicious with a good selection, and of course the breakfast staff were very efficient. The location is excellent- about a 4 minute walk from JR Nara Station. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel location within walking distance to the train and bus station - very convenient! The hotel bathroom was great water pressure, so very convenient to station. The staff was very polite and professional and respected privacy. The hotel provided toothbrushes, bathrobes, slippers, teas and hair combs and brushes and plenty selection on vending machines.The breakfast cost 1000 yen and we left too early during the day to try it - but others said it was great! We (several delegation members) enjoyed the stay. On last day 5 deer walked the bus location, an added bonus to our stay!

Needed to be close to ice machine so they moved me to a very tiny room I think was used for staff as the rug was so dirty I had to put the bath robe down to walk around. The stool under the desk had 2 large cut out holes, probably from smoking from some prior boarder. I wiped everything down.

Great location right next to the Nara train station - about a 15 minute walk to Nara park. Very clean , nice shower etc

Centrally located, close to station, perfect for one night in Nara. Good breakfast for 1000 yen.
