Friendly staff with great communication and nice breakfast buffet. Public bath is small but a nice addition after a long day of sightseeing. Old but nice hotel (my folks have stayed here many times in the past), convenient location. If you prefer to bathe privately, the bathtub in the room is a good decent size.

We stayed in the quad room as a family of 4 with 2 teens. 2 beds were temporary beds, a sofa bed converted and an extra bed. The extra bed was really hard that no one wanted to sleep on it and the sofa bed was soft enough but short for a 180cm person. We stayed for only one night so we managed okay.

Its far from NARA parkI booked it i tot it will be walking distance like right there its a long of a walk or mybe we just dont know the place well

Its conveniently close to the Nara station, with many restaurants and combinis in less than 5 mins walk. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. It has everything you need including a refrigerator, and complimentary toiletries.

Unfortunately the bed is super uncomfortable aa well as the pillows.. the room was very dry and had a sewage smell. For those reasons i probably wouldnt book here again.

Location was excellent. They have huge storage space with locks and we don't need to ask for Staff to access it so it was smooth

The USB phone charger was not available which was very rare nowadays for hotels.

The hotel is very close to the station, making it extremely convenient. There is a luggage storage area where you can store your bags easily and set your own passcode, so you don’t need to bother the staff again when picking them up. The elevator is spacious and very convenient, and it even has a chair inside—perfect for elderly guests. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful with every question and request.We booked a room with three separate beds, which was very comfortable. The bathroom is divided into three separate sections: the toilet, the sink area, and the shower room. This setup allows multiple people to use the facilities at the same time, thanks to the separate doors.The onsen was very convenient as well. There were lockers for storing belongings, towels, amenities, a hair dryer, drinking water, and even ice cream provided after the bath. On the same floor, there were also coin-operated washing machines and dryers, which were very convenient. The same floor also had an exercise bike and a TV (though we didn’t try using them).Note: The hotel provides a luggage weight scale, which is very convenient for guests who need to weigh their bags before flying.; just ask the staff at the lobby.

The refrigerator was a bit small. There was a slight damp smell after using the shower for the first time, likely due to poor ventilation. However, once the staff cleaned the room, the smell disappeared. After using the shower again, even once, the smell returned.

A wonderful, large, and beautiful hotel. It offers a variety of services, such as a spa, a free buffet, and large lounge areas. There are several restaurants. Excellent location, just steps from Nara Station. Friendly staff.

Breakfast not good forJapan quality. The welcome drink quality really not good cheap drinks.

The beds were comfortable.The location was great.The atmosphere was very calm.The lobby is a lovely place to wait for someone or relax.

Great buffet and great location.

Noisy on the south side of the hotel because of the trains. We switched rooms to the north side and it was much better.

Everything. The staff was really nice and polite. The waiting-room/lounge was really good, with free drinks and Sake.

I wanted to stay near the JR train station and this hotel was attached to it. Note there is also a Kintetsu train station in Nara which is nearby, but still a distance away. All the staff were very kind and helpful, but for me the convenience to the JR station was the star. And also the very large supermarket (Kohyo) on the ground level. There's also a small mall (Vierra) attached to the station with a large drugstore and various eateries. Public buses to the park depart from the station and are only 250 yen each way.

Location is good

The staff didn’t inform us about important details during check-in. We had to ask about everything ourselves. They seemed rushed and did not communicate proactively. As for breakfast, the options were very limited and mostly catered to Japanese guests, which made it difficult for others to find suitable choices.

We loved our spacious room, and the staff were kind and polite. The location is very convenient, right next to the JR station, making arrival from your travels around Nara stress-free. It’s so relaxing to know your hotel is just steps away after getting off the train. We also liked our buffet breakfast!!

Whenever I go to Nara or Kyoto, I always stay at this hotel. It is incredibly convenient, being close to the JR train station. It is close to many attractions. I am always pleased with the rooms I stay in. The staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating. As a kimono-lover, one of my favorite decorative features is the uchikake wedding kimono display that always changes whenever I come. The lounge is a welcome sight for a drink or snack to relax. There is also a spa where you can get a nice massage. The luggage keep is extremely convenient to keep heavier bags while exploring the city. It is incredibly clean and safe.

Location was good right next to the station. The lounge was good but not a lot of seating as it gets busy

Very dated. Small bed and uncomfortable pillows. Room was small. Bathroom was tiny, my husband is 6.3 and his head touch the ceiling in the bathroom and bend over through door ways. Buffet was overpriced but had maybe 25% western offerings, breakfast was less choice.

Great location, only about 1 minute from the nearest train station. So many shops nearby.
