Fairfield by Marriott Nara Tenri Yamanobenomichi

I really enjoyed my stay, it was the perfect place to relax during my stay in Nara. The staff are extremely friendly and warm. They really make you feel welcome. As far as the room, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although the hotel has limited facilities, there is a nice restaurant next door and a grocery/gift shop attached. Being at the base of small mountains, the surrounding area is surrounded by small farms and is very beautiful. I will definitely stay here again! Arigato!

The location is outside the center of Nara, but thats also the charm, especially if your focus is daytime excursions or if you have a car. The train itself is quick, just need to schedule your departures. Luckily the hotel has a shuttle to and from until evening or $10 by taxi. More English channels please.

This is my 2nd stay at a Fairfield by Marriott with the first one at Kumano. It’s basically a mirror image, and that’s a compliment, considering how spacious each room is and how comfortable we felt staying in them.

The room bed pillows shower everything really also stuff were helpful nice and welcoming excellent service

Such an amazing stay, we had a car so it was much easier. Everything about the venue and set up and the amazing restaurant and supermarket next door with tons of beautiful local craft and produce unique to the prefecture

The room was excellent, very nice view and very comfortable.

Unless you go by car, I don’t recommend to choose this hotel. The location is really far from downtown Nara and Nara Park. But the real problem is that there is no public transportation nearby, you have to walk at least 30 minutes to get to one of the big Avenues in order to get on a bus or reach the Tenri train station.

Room was clean and the size is ok. Free parking.

Restaurant was closed due to CORONAVIRUS. So we had to drive and found things to eat. Luckily we got a small but very nice Japanese restaurant. The boss is funny ?
