Hotel Rokune

The room was very spacious and the amenities were quite modern. The location is also fantastic. It's about a two-minute walk to the station.

Well, the room was very large. It was missing power points next to the bed. It only had one bedside table. There was no dining table and only one chair, and also no luggage rack. Also, the induction stove was non-operational.

Fantastic space, comfortable bed, in unit washer/dryer came in very handy, central location right by Nara Station.

Self check in is not really a con, but does force baggage storage at the station, which actually worked well.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the main business district. The room was spacious, we really enjoyed having a washer and dryer and the amenities provided in the bathroom were a nice touch.

I'm not a big fan of self-check, but it worked well, so we were happy with it in this instance. It wasn't clear whether room cleaning and fresh towels would be provided (they were not). It would have been nice to have been provided more information on this.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was a little far from Nara Park, but we actually ended up walking back to the Hotel from Nara Park and it wasn't too bad. The hotel is a short walk from the train station. It's quiet, clean and lovely. It was really nice to have a washing machine in the room. Although the beds were low to the ground, they were very comfortable and we slept very well. The hotel and room were self check-in and we didn't see any hotel staff, but the process was easy and uneventful. We would absolutely stay there again.

Amazing appartement. It has everything you need and is a short walk from the train station (2-3 minutes). Loved the amenities in the entrance. Would come again and wish all stays in Japan were like this one (we are in Kyoto right now and can only think back how great Rokune was compared to where we are staying now).

Some of the softest, most comfortable beds I've slept on in Japan (or anywhere). Huge room/space. Close to the bus/train station and a grocery store. Quiet and the automated check in and out was seamless. Washing machine in room.

The burner in the kitchen was out of order and had a sign apologizing for it, but I hadn't planned to use it anyway.

The room was spacious and new. It is located near the Nara station and paid carpark.

We weren’t told in advance that the stove wasn’t working. Even though the description said there was a kitchenette, there was no proper knife or scissors to help with cutting food. There was really just a tiny sink, some cutlery and plates. We had to rely on the microwave in the end.

Very nice accomodations. The room had coffee and tea, lots of space, a washer, etc. The lobby had razors and other toiletries. The room was clean and nice and the beds were very comfortable. Make sure to screen shot the codes you get when you check in - we almost lost track of the code to get into the front door.

The place was very big, spacious, clean and it had everything you might need for the stay. We were very comfortable at Rokune Hotel and I can recommend it

This has been our favourite place in our trip to Japan. Very spacious, comfortable, they provide comfy pijamas, everything you need is provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover, body lotion, washing detergent…etc). Washing machine has a dryer function which was handy and everything is beautifully presented. Wry close to Nara train station (only 200 mts). Highly recommend it!

The room is clean and comfortable, and JR Nara station is only 3-5 minutes away.

Lots of space, there is a microwave and a kettle. There is a washing machine which was very good for us. Great shower with lots of towels. Great place near the train station and near the station where you can take a bus to Nara park.

You don’t have anywhere to charge your phone and other electronics. They give you a cable that you can charge with but it’s really annoying.The washing machine had one capsule which mean you can use the machine only once.

Incredibly spacious room. Nice amenities in the wash/bath area.

There were no available electrical outlets. There were four total in the room, taken by the refrigerator, the microwave, the TV, and the air purifier. There was a long extension cord provided so I could unplug the microwave and then charge my smartphone next to the bed. It’s a silly oversight to have not had more outlets in a modern building.

Very handy place, walking from station. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, it had everything we needed, including washing machine and drying room. Easy access, very quiet.

Location is by the JR Nara station which is a little further away from the hustle and bustle which would be the Kintestu-Nara station. The location has a laundry in unit which was a lifesaver for me during my long trip in Japan. The room is also more spacious than I anticipated. Exactly what I needed.

The room was huge, I’ve never had a hotel room this big! It has its own washing machine, which was really convenient and a great bathroom with an automatic tub. Really close to the station, really convenient to reach!

Only one blanket on the bed, which was totally fine but two would have been even better.
