    Pros +

    • The view from the room was amazing. It was very spacious too!
    • Location and the quick access to the inner city for eating etc and the closeness to the deer park and temples! It’s really in the middle!
    • Location was the best to an artsy neighborhood, the UNESCO sites and close to Nara Park.

    Cons -

    • They weren't successful in charging my card but did not let me know. We had to find this out while we were trying to check-in. Staff helped us which fixed the issue within 2 hours which was nice.
    • The check out time at 10am with a big reminder about being fined if you leave late! Very unnecessary in my humble opinion! Maybe the word Please leave the room before 10am as we would like to prepare the room for further guests!
    • Taking a bath is hard because they have a small boiler that runs out of hot water before filling the tub, apparently. But that didn't bother me as I just took quick hot showers, japanese style :)

Location was the best to an artsy neighborhood, the UNESCO sites and close to Nara Park.

The property was in a fantastic location, short walk from the train station and Nara Park. The room itself was spacious and very clean.

    10ChristianPosted on: 4-28-2025

The location was perfect and the contactless entry was nice. We got there early and contacted them via the visitor center around the corner. They said they just finished cleaning our room so we were able to check in early and drop our bags off before visiting Nara. The shower was also very nice.

    Big room, big bed, clean.

Great location, clean and spacious facilities. Self service, but easy to manage!

    6PatrickPosted on: 1-24-2025

Location is hard to beat. Very central. Quite clean. Affordable.

It's called a hotel but it's really not. There are no staff, nowhere to leave bags if you arrive early and no one to help with anything if you need it and though Japan is super safe, if you were travelling alone it could feel creepy and isolated. It's more like an airbnb. There's not enough hot water to run a bath. Limited facilities in the room.

    almost nothing, felt scammed

Terrible experience. The photos are a scam—cheap wallpaper everywhere trying to look fancy. The room is unbearably bright with zero proper curtains, and the constant noise from the avenue makes it impossible to rest. On top of that, they threaten to charge 3,000 yen if you don’t leave by 10 AM. Avoid this place at all costs!

    Excellent location. Room was spacious.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Part of the problem was the size which is a bit small for average sized Europeans (I’m 6’ and my wife 5’7”) but we also found the mattress poor. Sound insulation between rooms and to the outside isn’t great.

    10ShochangPosted on: 12-3-2024

The location was superb, basically close to everything. Deers were just grazing at the gate in the morning. Room was also spacious and clean.

The facility was auto-checkin, so provide no luggage storage service on site. Have to go to their office, which is 1km away for storage.

Decent sizeComfy bed. Quiet areaVery close to deer park and templesGave us early check in . Thanks

Comfortable and spacious room for the price. Good location. No breakfast at the hotel, but plenty of options nearby.

Absence of a staffdd hotel reception is awkward. You wil need good internet access on your phone to complete the on-line check-in. I suppose the money saved here enables the good room rate.

    9MarcosPosted on: 10-26-2024

More than expected, great stay with spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable. The location is great.

    8YoavPosted on: 10-16-2024

    Good location.

The room was small for a family of 4. The bathroom was really small.

    8InesPosted on: 10-16-2024

The location was amazing, the first temple was across the street, so were a little pond to relax and the shopping/eating area. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

    It was a little noisy.

    3AiPosted on: 10-14-2024

    Poor

The toilet was dirty with the seat left up. There was also a towel on the floor. It was clear that the staff didn’t finish cleaning the bathroom. I complained about it and the staff came to clean it. However, they only made a simple apology with no other offer. We were inconvenienced by this episode.

On the 29th, when we arrived at the hotel, a male staff member was unhelpful when we asked about luggage storage. Conseq

    7NeilPosted on: 9-18-2024

Location was good; close to train, bus, shops, restaurants.

Microwave cooking dish and eating utensils, water glasses and wine glasses, coffee cups would have been useful.
