Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden By IHG-Near Panda Base

The hotel is near the Chengdu Panda Research center and provides shuttles to travel between. The service is awesome. The front desk  helped us a lot with our accommodations and travel plans. The panda theme room is super cute and our kiddo loves it.

Seems that there¿s no fridge in the room.

Clean & modern- staff is helpful & the location is very close to the Panda Research Centre

Location and facilities. We were upgraded to a panda room which was lived by kids

Breakfast, location to base.

Black mold on the ceiling above bathroom door. Can't control temperature of the room.

Though it’s ranked a 5 star hotel, but it’s probably a 3 at best

I thought the location is within a park, but it’s among many buildings within a park, it gets about 1/3 of the grass. Umbrellas require a deposit, which not even other 3 star hotels requires.

Very friendly staff. We checked-in in the night, they made it very fast. Good location for Panda Park

It’s very clean and the staff are very helpful.

Food selection and quality can be improved. The Hotel Guide and the stationary inside should be refreshed.

Very spacious room, fabulous bathroom with separate freestanding bath. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful and luxurious decor throughout the hotel. Perfectly located for the Panda Base and also not too far from Chengdu city centre

AC not very effective. No mini-bar.

The hotel is close to Panda base. The hotel offers shuttle to the panda base. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is very generous to allow us to stay until 4:00pm after visit the panda base. Breakfast is very good, has variety choices.

Free upgrade on arrival to a deluxe room - this was huge, very clean, nice views over pool and panda baseConvenient for pandas and free shuttle bus makes this easy 2 x pools - one good for lane swimming and then a leisure pool outside

- Need to bring a swim cap if you want to use the pool - they cost £7-£10 onsite!- We had read that there was a free shuttle to the nearest metro but this was no longer running. We were able to go into Chengdu using public bus and metro but this took approx 90mins each way

We liked the location, attention, the buffet and the room, everything was very clean

Nice, big rooms. The staff helped us to get to the Chengdu Panda Research Center. The food was delicious, their Chinese restaurant is exceptional. They have also amenities for children. It’s pity that we couldn’t stay longer!

It is very convenient that the shuttle has a few different time slots.

The breakfast room was very cold, all plates were ice-cold too, it only took a few minutes that the hot meals became cold meals, and they were not enjoyable.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and made our visit to the panda park extremely enjoyable. Rooms were comfortable and clean and very spacious.

Our room was slightly too hot, we couldn’t seem to get the air conditioner to cool the room down

The view from the room was amazing. There's a shuttle bus from the hotel to the panda garden which helped a lot in the hot weather when we visited. Very spacious dining area and lots of food options at the breakfast buffet. Friendly staff and clean room. Recommended!

Close to the panda park, breakfast exceptionally good. Rooms are comfortable and enough space for 2 people. Shuttle to and from panda park comfortable.

Just one tv channel, didn’t get all the information regarding the shuttle to the panda park from the reception ( might have been a language barrier, maybe they could provide a timetable in each room) and our bathtub had a weird stain.

The hotel was great! Room was big, quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, they gave me free breakfast, free transfer to Panda Base and check-out at 14.00 instead 12.00. Breakfast was very good.

Conveient location near the Panda Park at the outskirt of the citu. Modern and clean hotel with great breakfast.

Far from city centet, small but comfi rooms.

Large comfortable room

Breakfast was just OK, no good restaurants in the area, very rural.

good location next to the Panda park, with shuttle bus is really convenient.
