The staff were friendly and helpful
1.Air conditioner not working. 2. White Sheets old stained and dark. No fresh clean smell as if they were used and never washed. 3. The mat in the room dirty stained and smelling. The hotel didn't worth what we paid. 4.I even saw cokroach in the room ?
What i saw on Booking.com is not what I saw in reality on my arrival. The place is like a hostel. I booked an executive room that didn't have a network, and wifi access the TV offered me one channel, which is SABC 2 only for three nights I booked. Breakfast is a disaster serving island water mixed juice with slammed fruits. The oil used to fry eggs was smelling. The building is dilapidated and dirty. In short, it was not valued for money.
Friendly staff. Good food. Beautiful place. But the pools were really dirty.
Location not too far from the highway
No Dstv, picture quality of a TV was bad. There was nothing to watch.
Breakfast was awesome, location very good, neat and clean
Wifi signal not good at all for TV so I could only get 2 channels, I think that the grass needs to be cut, takes away the beauty of the lodge. Prices of local beer very expensive,, R46 for a 330ml castle lite
The staff was a not bad but not great either, it took a while for receptionist to attend to us. We had to ask around and for someone to call her, the Bar I couldn’t charge to the room. No one comes to find out if you need anything to order etc when you by the pool. You constantly must walk around to find people to get something, no protectiveness. Even just people to help carry you bags etc there was none of that. One of the staff came to fix the tv WiFi and asked me for money afterwards. The stuff seems unhappy for some reason.
Maybe train the stuff on customer service and also work on thr culture there.
Very bad
Breakfast pack were in bad condition, not fresh. Room not cleaned properly. We were given dirty fridge. Frog was found inside the room.
The place was not dirty ,the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is not bad as well
Disappointing Experience Due to Poor ServiceThe staff, for the most part, seem inexperienced and unprofessional, operating as if they are running a small, informal business rather than a hospitality establishment. They fail to recognize that we, as guests, simply want a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Instead, their lack of service and professionalism made our experience frustrating.Friday Night Check-In – A Hostile ExperienceThe receptionist was overwhelmed, working alone while managing a large group of guests checking in. She lacked basic customer service skills, frequently leaving the desk without explanation, leaving us waiting for an extended period with no updates. She informed me about an issue with bookings made through Booking.com, stating that guests are automatically charged for breakfast. After an exhausting one-hour debate, we were too tired to argue further and just wanted to rest. The room had no working lights or air conditioning, but at that point, we were too drained to complain. The short, light-skinned lady at the food area was extremely rude and lacks customer service etiquetteSaturday Night – More IssuesWhen we returned to collect our keys after being asked to vacate due to a room change, there was no one at reception for over 30 minutes. Despite ringing the bell multiple times, no staff member attended to us.When the receptionist finally arrived, she appeared intoxicated and was followed by a man—presumably a security guard—who was also visibly drunk and almost fell.Security at the gate repeatedly attempted to solicit money from me on two separate occasions, which is completely unacceptable.Cleaners asked for my drinks when checking out the internet doesn't work.Management & Final ThoughtsThe management is completely ineffective, and the staff lacks basic hospitality training. If this continues, the establishment will inevitably decline. However, I must commend Mr.
The Breakfast was amazing, the Kitchen staff gave an outstanding service. They serve a variety of food and you are spoilt for choice.Fresh and delicious Omelets every morning. The staff made sure we left the Dinning hall with a smile.
I loved everything about the place,my query with the rooms were addressed ASAP.A big thank you to the Housekeeping manager for her kind response and service. The Housekeepers did their best.
Only the swimming pool and the dinner
Cockroaches all over in the corridor to the rooms.Drainage system was blocked the water in the shower, bath and basin couldn't pass through. The toilet was also blocked The plumbers were busy fixing the drainage system in our presence. There was a disgusting smell and spillage in the corridor from the drainage system. We were struggling to walk in the corridor because of the slippery condition. The roof in the corridor was also leaking water.
The breakfast was the best and the facilities
The reception lady didn't tell us about monkeys so we left our sliding door open and they ete everything.
