It was fairly clean

I was on crutches and all the rooms were upstairs with no lifts. The food was bad ?

The ambiance besides that the room was dark.Xoli, the waitress service.

There was dust everywhere. There were spiders. The cups were dirty. Carpets not vacuumed...House keeping was called, and the lady didn't clean. She just hanged used towels on the chair at the balcony with the intention for us to use them again.... I should have taken photos and posted them....There was a matric farewell, I could hear the noise from the rooms....The bed was squeaky..... :-(

The theme of the whole hotel was beautifuul.

we had a power outage and as much as this was not the property's fault, there was an emergency light provided which was not working. We had to struggle moving around the whole night.The check in was also a bit of an inconvenience, we requested an early check in which was rejected, fine. Then we went on to go to Sun City, we again requested for a late check in as we we were already at our main event but that too was rejected.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations due to several issues. The service at your restaurant was very poor we have waited more than a hour for our food. The pillows we had to triple fold them just so that they would be able to sleep on. Your price for the room rates you charge does not fit your accommodation at all! I believe that addressing these issues could greatly enhance the experience for future guests. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I hope to see improvements in the future.

The fish, ribs and chicken were enjoyable.

The chicken livers and squids were bland. No flavour.

The experience was exceptional. Feels like you traveled back in time. Extreme attention to detail with the decorations.

Rooms need maintenance. It wasn’t as clean as it should be. Towels were harsh on skin. Cleaning service wasn’t up to par. Room needs to be vacuumed.

At the restaurant later at night we sat inside while waiting for the order with other people,a few minutes later we were asked to move to a hidden space away from other people.The reason was never really given for moving us and we were left wondering.It sombered the mood and we decided to leave the restaurant after our dinner.

All good. Door leading to balcony had difficulty to unlock. Matras not comfortable and might need replacement

Our room had only one towel. No tea. No room prep and even after they know we are there they didnt bring anything. The fridge was never on.

Staff were unprepared. We were 2 bookings and they only prepared one room. We had to wait long infront of the gate for them to open. The couple only had one towel. The fridge wasnt on. Only one water.

The facility, environment, location. The staff welcoming. Although the food is not that nice, the restaurant is stunning.

There was no supper of breakfast. one would have thought that the hotel would have taken the public holiday intro account.

This boutique hotel is a constant delight and hours can be spent just admiring the different pieces of décor in the rooms, corridors, restaurant and entrance. I found the staff to be so kind and attentive, especially Daniel, who is an expert at choosing costumes for the Sunday buffet lunch. For R150, you can hire your medieval look for the day, such fun. The hotel offers private dining rooms for costume parties and other special events. The Queen’s Tower is a wonderful suite with a comfortable lounge with an entrance to a private outdoor patio between the towers. Upstairs, the round bedroom offers lovely views, a stunning bathroom with a spa bath and ample cupboard space. Every day the fridge is stocked with a substantial snack box that more that covers breakfast, if you are off that day or the dining room offers an array of breakfast choices. The Netflix channels offer a pleasing change from the more mundane offerings in South African hotels. The restaurant has a good lunch/dinner menu, with ample portions of well-cooked food. It is closed for all of Monday but the Waterfall Mall is only 4 km down the road with ample eating choices. Definitely a place I will return to.

We went there a few times before but the quality went backwards..No coffee machine,no breakfast included anymore,I booked for 2 and only got a room for one person..Mini bar was also taken away…also the fish platter we ordered had frost bite on the fish and the rump steak was left too long with meat tenderiser…Such a shame won’t go back again

I was very upset about the breakfast package I called to ask if breakfast was included I was told yes, instead it was a breakfast pack in the fridge, the hotel itself is very nice and clean the staff were friendly I personally feel that they should be more specific

The decor was really excellent. The food and service was great.

I was asked if I wanted the romantic package and I responded with yes I would. Unfortunately, upon my arrival I was advised that this was not done and no acceptable reason was provided. Disappointing.For the price and star rating, I would have expected some biscuits/rusks with the tea/coffee.

The Hotel was exceptionally clean. It was very unique and the staff were all excellent.
